Maybe sign a couple of youngsters (players like Matty James with something to prove) and see how we go. I don't see why we desperately need to get promoted every season. You can all see the work the club is doing and the players we have got are of a very high quality. Patience. Im more than happy for us to stay in this division for at least another 10 years, so are the owners. Would you rather go up next season and (most likely) come straight back down the season after or build the squad up so we have an honest chance of survival? Personally, it's a no brainer. I would rather go up next season even if we come back down at least we will have some parachute payments then spend season after season in this division until the owners lose interest and sell up. I would rather us be in the premiership with a shot of staying up than spending another 1 or 2 years in this division. You say we have got a very high quality of players which I agree with. But the longer we stay in this division the more chance we have of losing them players to teams in the premier league. If players like James, Knockeart and king have good seasons and we fail to gain promotion this season chances are we will be losing them next season.
