NewburyFox Posted 15 July 2013 Posted 15 July 2013 Disappointed we're not going after Hobbs to be honest. I'm interested in seeing how much Forest have paid for him, as I'm sure that Pearson would like to be in for him given our weakness at CB and his history with Hobbs. Good signing for Forest.

Never rated him that much when he was with us, overrated by many fans, was ok but nothing special.

Yeah, too much bad blood between the clubs for us to get hold of Hobbs, first the Pearson saga, then refusing to entertain any bids for KS, I wouldn't be surprised if we were in for Hobbs as well but they've told us to **** off. It will be horrible seeing Hobbs in a F****t shirt!
Happy Fox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 There are better CB's at this level than Hobbs imo, with Morgan and Whitbread (provided he can keep fully fit) we would probably have the best Centre half partnership pairing in this division so nothing to worry about.
