Guest ttfn Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Kieron Dyer despite being injured always Kieron Dyer as a 19-22 year old was absolutely terrific. He would have been a hell of a player if he'd stayed fit.
Finnegan Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Peter Taylor is a bigger blagger than Sven, surely. Maybe less high profile but even more prolific.
SystonFox Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 On that note David Nugent and his England goal? Least deserved goal I have ever seen. Cheeky git
Bert Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Michael Appleton. Jon Greening - Champions league winners medal.
ealingfox Posted 7 June 2013 Author Posted 7 June 2013 Michael Appleton. Jon Greening - Champions league winners medal. Fvck me didn't know that, thats an excellent blag from Greening. Appleton was also a really weird one, Portsmouth to Blackpool I could maybe understand but why then Blackburn wanted him after an extremely indifferent first six weeks we will never know.
Soar Fox Posted 7 June 2013 Posted 7 June 2013 Is it bad that I've never even heard of Conceicao? Depends on your age. I remember him because I used to watch a lot of Italian football on channel 4. He was actually a very good footballer with over 50 caps for Portugal and 11 winners medals in Italy & Portugal.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 7 June 2013 Posted 7 June 2013 Jonathon Woodgate Chris Kirkland Never lived up the hype. Also, Joey Barton - Thinking he's premiership quality... pfft
foxfanazer Posted 7 June 2013 Posted 7 June 2013 Andrey Arshavin to some extent. Nearly blagged a move to Barca before signing for Arsenal and now released
goose2010 Posted 7 June 2013 Posted 7 June 2013 Andre Santos - Absolute Pony To be fair we have signed some shockers momo sylia for one.
Fox92 Posted 7 June 2013 Posted 7 June 2013 Jonathon Woodgate Chris Kirkland Never lived up the hype. Because of serious injuries. I have no doubt these two could have been England players if it wasn't for their constant injuries. Although I still can't believe Woodgate went to Madrid (for nearly £14million).
RowlattsFox Posted 7 June 2013 Posted 7 June 2013 This thread is now just name a shit player thread. I would say phil Neville is lucky to have as many medals and caps given his ability.

Ridiculously shit players can be considered great blag artists though. For instance, Josh Low and Junior Lewis seemed to have pulled off epic blags in becoming professional footballers in the first place.
