Adster Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Absolutely diabolical refereeing in more than one aspect.
StanSP Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Japan have been quality so far. Fully deserve their lead. So much quicker and sharper than Italy.
Fox in the North Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 I don;t think hartson is doing much better to be honest haha
Kitchandro Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Pretty sure Schlupp scored one just like that against Bolton. Got next to no mention on here, let alone anywhere else. Hartson on the shot he blazed over the bar 'look at that left foot strike' These pundits really need to dry out their boxers and calm down. I'm sure he's a hugely talented player but you do not need to go over the top about every little thing he does just to prove a point. The annoying thing is it was his more subtle touches and play that were most impressive in that game, but they have to wank over all his shots and stuff just to hammer the point home to viewers, like we're all so stupid we can only appreciate those things.
Kitchandro Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 2-2! This is why Italy have always frustrated me. When they go for it they can really dominate teams and run them ragged, but they'd rather be tentative and wait for the opposition to get into their stride first. That's partly why they went out in the 1st round of the World Cup (although the othe reason was down to Howard Webb's mate's woeful offside decision). Speaking of Howard Webb, what an absolute tosser he looked in that Brazil v Mexico game. He was falling for all their bullshit, happy for everyone to dive and roll around, and giving everything he could to the home side as usual. The most overrated ref of all time.
Kitchandro Posted 19 June 2013 Posted 19 June 2013 Mario is the boss at penalties. There's not many other players I want to take one ahead of him. I can only hope the world cup is as exciting as this next summer.
