Who's annoyed?! Just baffled.

This has given me enormous amusement, though. lol

I'm more intrigued about when you became a human? I thought you were some kind of mythical creature with amazing FM talents... *bubble burst*

Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos Leite :D

I once got that right in a football quiz down the pub. (obviously the name was read out and they asked which player it was I didn't remember the name)

As it's been said different naming cultures different way of doing things, espeically with Portugese names they are all ridiculously long.

Even Cristiano Ronaldo isn't actually called Cristiano Ronaldo.

Uruguay's Diego Lugano has warned tonight's Chilean match official Enrique Osses to be all too lenient with Neymar:

"He feigns fouls and falls over easily."

And that from an Uruguayano. lol

Also, things you didn't know about Neymar and the Confederations Cup:

In this 2013 edition, he has been the most favourite victim of tackles, but also dished out the most fouls himself, as well (13 in total).

His latest and most violent outburst came against Italy's Abate:

Neymar also made a terrible tackle on Mexico's Gio dos Santos, kicking him on the knee but only drawing a foul and not a booking (Howard Webb, I'm looking at you). I actually thought it was great that Guardado essentially ran across the pitch as Brazil tried to counter off Mexico free kick to chop down Neymar (with a little kick at the end for good measure). Mexico had to send a message to Neymar that he wasn't going to get away with those sorts of tackles (or skillful plays where he embarrasses defenders, for that matter ;)) without impunity. It wasn't much of a surprise that Neymar faded away the rest of the 1st half after that.

Neymar is a fantastic player, but he's still young so his lack of composure and physical strength can sometimes be used against him. I've said it before, but if I were managing against him, I'd strongly consider asking one of my players to crack him in the shins within the first minute of the game. I know Neymar is used to some physical play, as sometimes the Brazilian/Paulista can be rough, but they're not played at the pace of top-class international competition. If anything, even if that doesnt faze Neymar one bit, you might still get Marcelo to blow his fuse and get sent off trying to retaliate! lol

was listening to tim vickery today and he says neymar has been told to do it.

he's the most fouled player at the tournement bit has also commited the most fouls as well.

this is because big phil is trying to get brazil to pressure high up the pitch when they dont have the ball. something new to them as they normally sit and then counter attack.

so to make sure they dont get caught on the break themselves he has asked neymar. fred. etc to commit a foul as soon as they lose possesion.

The Uruguayan president will be loving this.

Be sat watching on his black and white portable with a cigar stroking his pet pig.

lol !?

Have a google of him. Jose Mujica. Incredible character.

Takes 12k a month in wages and gives 90% away. Refused to live in the Presidential palace as he didn't want to leave his farm.

Anybody else disappointed with the atmosphere at this tournament so far?

Least they haven't got those Vu vu things that the South Africans had.

Doesn't sound like it was much of a game.

I think the Brazilians have other things on their minds atm.

Neymar certainly is. Whenever I've seen him take a corner, he always urges the crowd on and they respond in kind for all of a few seconds.

I didn't think it was a dull game. Both teams really went at it--and went at each other, too. There was genuine hate between the two teams and the tackles were flying in all game.

It's funny that Uruguay's physical play took Neymar out of the game, yet he still made the difference when he got free for one second on Fred's goal and later provided the cross off the corner for Paulinho's game winner.

Edinson Cavani looked like he'd be just as comfortable as right back or defensive midfielder than forward--he put in some shift yesterday.

Neymar is an insufferable bellend.

Very true. He's clearly skilled but about the most selfish player I've ever witnessed. Would rather take an impossible shot from 50 yards than hand it to someone in a better position (before anyone points out, I'm aware he's made a couple of assists, but I've witnessed too many terrible attempts from this guy)

And that dive yesterday, Jesus

Juninho on the TV now.

He's finally shaken off Pontus Kaamark.

he had to go back home to do it mind.

have to say italy have been excellent. spain still having all the ball. yet 9 chances for italy in the 1st half.
