dynamark Posted 14 June 2013 Share Posted 14 June 2013 hate to hark on but the club directors/executive sanction all financial stuff like beckfords wages.Sure sven wanted to sign him but final decision is higher up.Dead easy on here to slag off sven with some justification but it was good for a while got us out of the mire remember he didn't sign the cheques. If I remember correct he got the bullet after 3 defeats on that basis Np has has a result

It certainly would be done higher up and agreed to by the owners. Why people insist on blaming Sven I do not know. The only interesting thing about this though is that he was fired on the back of a poor result at home to Milwall but also for purely financial reasons to get him off the pay roll. Dickov22 Posted 14 June 2013 Share Posted 14 June 2013 Sven was a bigger disaster to this club than Peter Taylor. We will continue to suffer from his tenure for many seasons to come.
Dickov22 Posted 14 June 2013 Share Posted 14 June 2013 And if course it was Sven's fault. True, the owners sign the cheques but it was up to him to sign good players. I can only think of Nugent and Schmeichel. The rest were useless.

Dan LCFC Posted 14 June 2013 Share Posted 14 June 2013 The bottom line is the contrast in value for money comparing the two is fvcking scary. It's criminal the money we've wasted. There's such talent going on the cheap if you look in the right places.
Bilo Posted 14 June 2013 Share Posted 14 June 2013 So many what ifs. What if we'd replaced Martin O'Neill with David Moyes when we had the chance? What if we'd signed Robert Lewandowski instead of Jermaine Beckford? What if I hadn't used my girlfriend's cat to mop up my semen after bashing one out over Animal Farm just as she walked in the living room?

Dickov22 Posted 14 June 2013 Share Posted 14 June 2013 Fernandes, Kyle Naughton, Curtis Davies, Miguel Vitor, Sol Bamba, Matt Mills. Of these, Naughton was good. Davies was good at first then faded. Vitor people rave about as he's from a big club. He barely played. Bamba and Mills- you must be joking

Bamba and Mills- you must be joking I thought Vitor was a solid centre half, who read the game well, regardless of his club. Been released now though. I agree with the others though. Bamba I could rival him.
