AKCJ Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Typical that it has to be a fairly shite away day for the first. Would have loved one of the promoted sides.
Leicesterpool Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Weekend away will be nice, when up on the coach last time and god it was long, it was that cheating 3-3 draw.
Dan Posted 20 June 2013 Author Posted 20 June 2013 Typical that it has to be a fairly shite away day for the first. Would have loved one of the promoted sides. It's good in a way though as it means what would've normally been a dull, run of the mill away day will now be a lot better as it's the opening day. If we take under 2k to this I'll be very disappointed.

Fox92 Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 I've been once before and that was when we drew 3-3 (under Sven, not that game under Adams)... I quite liked it, parking was close and the ground itself was very nice. Hopefully we can go this season.
Dan Posted 20 June 2013 Author Posted 20 June 2013 Never take more than about a thousand to this, no matter what the context, it just doesn't appeal to people. But for first day?
Harry - LCFC Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Hope to be there, as long as other things don't get in the way.
LCFC FOX Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 How much will it be on foxes travel and how long does it take?
Jiggers the Fox Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Think the away end has moved at Boro from this season
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Never take more than about a thousand to this, no matter what the context, it just doesn't appeal to people. First game of the season, I think we could sell this one out.
Dan Posted 20 June 2013 Author Posted 20 June 2013 How much will it be on foxes travel and how long does it take? Normally about £20 for adults. It's a piss take on the coach too as you stop near Leeds and then stop again at the worst services I've ever been to whilst the police escort you in, takes forever. Haven't used FT in well over a year now. Think the away end has moved at Boro from this season Really? Moved at Derby & Forest too apparently. Stuck in the corner at them now. First game of the season, I think we could sell this one out. 4,000 odd? No chance.
Fox92 Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Really? Moved at Derby & Forest too apparently. Stuck in the corner at them now. Derby as well? Where to? And where to at 'Boro because if I recall correctly, we were in the top tier anyway?
Dan Posted 20 June 2013 Author Posted 20 June 2013 At Derby apparently we'll be moved into the corner. Same with Forest, from next year apparently it's the upper tier corner. Absolute shite. They both had class away ends.
lestajigs Posted 20 June 2013 Posted 20 June 2013 Because this is first game, I will be defo making the trip, we should easy have 2000+ for this
LCFC FOX Posted 21 June 2013 Posted 21 June 2013 May give it a miss and try Wycombe if not Derby instead then, Foxestravel is the only way I could get to this

Away end at Boro is now in the east stand towards the south east corner. Explains it on Football Ground Guide in the visiting supporters bit http://www.footballgroundguide.com/middlesbrough/

They both had class away ends. Also I thought Forest had ditched their plans to move the away end because of fan uproar?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 June 2013 Posted 21 June 2013 For now, away fans will remain in the South Stand, but Derby supporters can purchase season tickets for the Upper Blocks D and E and Lower Blocks B and C. http://www.thisisderbyshire.co.uk/South-Stand-season-ticket-offer-revealed-Derby/story-18058156-detail/story.html#axzz2WqsswkYV Nottingham Forest has scrapped a plan to move season ticket holders from their seats after a number said they were furious with the proposals. It was part of plans to "reclaim" the lower section of the City Ground's Bridgford Stand from away fans. Away support would have been relocated to the Bridgford upper tier where home fans are currently seated. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-22706784
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 June 2013 Posted 21 June 2013 Derby is already in the corner isn't it? No. If you've been before you would know?
Dan Posted 22 June 2013 Author Posted 22 June 2013 Away end at Boro is now in the east stand towards the south east corner. Explains it on Football Ground Guide in the visiting supporters bit http://www.footballgroundguide.com/middlesbrough/ That was literally the only part of their ground that sings They're all copying Leicester as it's clearly the trick to being good at home.
