RedHux Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 They can actually! they're wage structure is, apparently, nowhere near as fooked up as ours is. they've supposedly not got our problem of 'hangers-on' earning megabucks for loitering around the fringes of the squad. Ishmael miller and matt Derbyshire. Both on stupid money so we can't get shot of them and both pretty much complete bobbins.
Bettsj2 Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Ishmael miller and matt Derbyshire. Both on stupid money so we can't get shot of them and both pretty much complete bobbins. Whats the general thoughts on Morgan? Would he be welcome back?
RedHux Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Most would welcome him back, but there are a few who remember the wes that always used to give away silly free kicks and won't entertain the thought that his time away may have improved his as player.

He may have improved as a player, but he still gives away silly free kicks. It was him that unnecessarily gave away the free kick for your second goal at the City Ground I believe. Often he's also caught out of position and a lot of his impressive blocks and tackles come as a result of this, his distribution and ability on the ball isnt great either. Wes is a good defender but I personally believe he is overrated by a lot of people and many of his mistakes get glossed over and forgotten unlike with Whitbread
RedHux Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 That all sounds very familiar. Still,he's better then Danny Collins so I'd have him in a heartbeat.
NGoloMode Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 https://twitter.com/indykaila/status/350901709461127168 Very reliable twitter account confirming Forest have made enquiries but have not made a bid yet.

The burly centre-half only left the City Ground for the King Power Stadium in January 2012. He settled quickly after crossing the East Midlands divide and was handed the Foxes' captaincy ahead of the 2012/13 campaign. Morgan is, however, a Nottingham native who graduated out of Forest's academy ranks to become a mainstay in their starting XI. He spent 10 years in the senior set-up on Trentside, making over 400 appearances for the Reds. Billy Davies is understood to be keen on returning him to his roots, now that Forest have resolved the financial issues which led to his sale. Leicester are, however, reluctant to part with the commanding defender and have no intention of entering into negotiations with their local rivals.

I do hope you're being ironic. That lad is a complete and utter fraud. It's some sad bastard who lives with his mum who trawls twitter looking for made up stories or simply steals them from real journalists. That last tweet is 'taken' from Stringer and Geoff Peters. Indy Kalia is a nob.

He makes the occassional mistake like everyone but making out like Whitbread is just hard done to compared to him is a bit of a joke. They're not even in the same parish. I was as scathing as anyone when we signed Wes but I know when I've been proved wrong (I mean it doesn't happen often ) Apart from his dip in form towards the end of the season (which compared to almost everyone else wasn't that bad) he's been superb for us.

I'm making out that Whitbread is hard done to but Morgan and probably also Keane got away with far more than Whitbread and St Ledger.

Kitchandro Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 I'm making out that Whitbread is hard done to but Morgan and probably also Keane got away with far more than Whitbread and St Ledger. Keane I agree with you, people ignored his failings because he's 'young' and because he's from Man U. And maybe because he could pass the ball sometimes. Morgan on the other hand I don't know what you're talking about. The reason his mistakes are forgotten is because he rarely makes them. Whitbread and St Ledger make them way too often that's why they're always picked up on.
kingfox Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 £1 million insulting, that's how much we paid for him. Why don't they give up, and move on. Pathetic.

He's one of the worst accounts on the whole site. An absolute cvnt who pretends to be in the know for his gullible followers, and worst of all uses his follow count to try and spread shit about Leicester, especially Pearson.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Very reliable twitter account confirming Forest have made enquiries but have not made a bid yet. Natalie 'Cracknose' Jackson heard directly from forest they have put a bid in, yet this joker denies one has gone in? He's a fool, a mixture of recycled news claiming to be his and the rest is utter bullshit. The guy comes home from his mundane job, sits down, goes on football manager, picks some random names then tweets about them. Not one story he has said has come true.
XLM Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Brown plays instead of Bruce against Cardiff and we'd have gone up. Solid defender. Wes had a great season and none of us want him to leave, but he is replaceable if he chose to go back to Forest. Agree with this - despite his political affiliations, Brown must have been an absolute nightmare to come up against - and we could do with a player in our side who brings a bit of fear. I remember in the Leeds game in League 1 where he dragged Becchio down by his hair - top guy. Morgan is a better defender, but I reckon if a player like Brown was up against Deeney in the play-offs, big Troy would either have had a torrid time, or got lost his head and started a fight!
Number 6 Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 Seen many a handy striker come and be very quiet up against Wes. He's the first name on the team sheet for me.
dannythefox Posted 29 June 2013 Posted 29 June 2013 If he did go back imo its a sideways step and I'd be surprised if we let him go BUT we don't know how these people above Pearson will work if they start selling players over Pearson then he'll probably just walk out. The more I think about the Thais the more I'm not sure about them.

We have rejected 4 bids for Kasper if that was the case as you have just described we would of accepted the first bid so there isn't anything to worry about unless he asks for a transfer request if he does that it would show how shite his ambitions are.
