Tielemans63 Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 If Curtis Davies has joined Hull for £2.5 mill then Wes is worth at least £3.5 mill - he's quite a bit better than Davies IMHO. Forest did us a huge favour giving him to us for just £1mill - they'll need to pay at least 3 times that to get him back I'd have thought.
Deucalion Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 If I remember rightly, Forest had to sell Wes so they could pay their wages. They were really strapped for cash at the time.
Walshy5 Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 If I remember rightly, Forest had to sell Wes so they could pay their wages. They were really strapped of cash at the time. Exactly and they're not now. Im starting to fear the worst with this one.
LCFC FOX Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 Most Forest fans would sooner have Kelvin Wilson back than Wes
Les-TA-Jon Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 Surely the only conditions under which this transfer would happen is if Morgan himself wanted to go and forced through a move? If he left we'd be left with basically no CBs - at the minute we've got: Morgan - obviously good enough Moore - Not good enough yet, could potentially step up next year Whitbread - Not proven himself yet, could potentially step up SSL - Transfer Listed hmmm?????
sylofox Posted 25 June 2013 Posted 25 June 2013 Exactly and they're not now. Im starting to fear the worst with this one. please don't tell me we did a back hand deal with forest to save them. The fvcking sheep are gonna rip us if we did or they think we did. Infact I'll rip us if that is what we did
tyneside fox Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 Trees aint interested in Wes http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/story-19394854-detail/story.html#axzz2XIji65mC
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 26 June 2013 Posted 26 June 2013 It also says a city source has said that he's discussing a new deal with us
NathanC93 Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 Good job we've rejected it. Hope they don't come in with a decent amount for him, we really need to hang on to him. Natalie Jackson â€@NatJacksonsport2m I understand #nffc have put a bid in for #lcfc captain Wes Morgan but it has been rejected. More on @bbcemt at 1830
yorkie1999 Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 How to unsettle your (non) rivals. Bid for their captain.
nickyboy Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 How to unsettle your (non) rivals. Bid for their captain. Worked with us, difference is we got him, haha
Danizen Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 It's probably just to appease their gobshite fans. It's been rejected now their owners can shrug their shoulders and say, "meh, we tried..."
TheUltimateWinner Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 GeoffPetersTalkSPORT â€@talkSPORTgeoff 3m The only way I see Wes Morgan leaving #LCFC is if #nffc make a ridiculous bid and the player wants to go back. Forest trying to unsettle him
Walshy5 Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 I can see wes's head being turned here being a forest fan and all.
KFS Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 If this actually happens, I'm going to take a shit in Billy Davies' tea every day for the next year.
Bettsj2 Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 Lets be under no illusions. Wes is Forest through and through. He left to help them out. Him leaving allowed them to bring in a load of players to save them from relegation. They can afford him now so if the chance is there, he would want to go back. I'm not convinced he'll be a Leicester player at the start of the season.
Jaspa Posted 28 June 2013 Posted 28 June 2013 Theyre just try'na f""k with us Wes has moved on and so should they
