Matt Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 i'm not sure I agree with that analysis! Yeah thought that myself after posting, what I meant by that is with 5 wickets in hand (Albeit getting towards lower order now) it's still in our hands, but I fear once Bell has gone it's over for us.
The People's Hero Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Bell should be at 3. I know it wouldn't make a huge difference but I don't understand the decision. Siddle and Lyon are far from net bowlers.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Siddle must really worry KP. Was a ludacris shot trying to play a hook shot whilst still on the front foot.

Siddle and Lyon are far from net bowlers. Bell should definitely be at 3. Especially Siddle he has a better average than Broad and Anderson.
Bert Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Siddle must really worry KP. Was a ludacris shot trying to play a hook shot whilst still on the front foot.KP Really acted a fool
Guest MattP Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Still in the balance, that last hour from Bell was superb, kept us in the test. If we can bat for must of tomorrow we might n not be in a bad position. Big if though.
theessexfox Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Did from lunch today, dozing off a few times. Not a bad day, in the balance.
purpleronnie Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 well it's time for the players to step up and win it, but unforunately I predict the oppisite...unsurprisingly. But that prediction has nothing to do with the fact that I'll win some money if the Aussies win.
Alexikokopops Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 I'm not expecting much sympathy but it really is filth out there. Topped at at 40-43 degrees today depending on who you listen to, meant to be a couple of degrees hotter tomorrow. Another three t-shirt day. How they're playing cricket out there I don't know. I spent the last half hour having a bit of a nap on one of the grass banks Meant to be this hot tomorrow and Monday, then back down to 30 degrees on day 5 (which is the usual temperature for this time of year)
Uncle Albert Posted 14 December 2013 Posted 14 December 2013 Bell should be at 3. I know it wouldn't make a huge difference but I don't understand the decision. Siddle and Lyon are far from net bowlers. At the minute the coaching team will be thinking why move our best batsman from the position where he is scoring from.. I do agree with you though, he should be at three with no Trott. Again another two wickets lost because of poor shots, I know I mentioned Australia doing that in the first innings but they're in a position where they can be playing shots.. We're not! We're batting to save a Test Match basically, Cook I can sympathise with a little but no excuse from KP. Stokes looks solid at the end yesterday with Bell, that was nice to see, hopefully these two can bat the first session out and then let's see where we are at lunch.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 What was the English Media's reaction to KPs dismissal?
Uncle Albert Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 Mind boggling.. Again KP sees off Johnson, then goes back to arrogant KP who shows little respect to Siddle and thinks he can hit him all around the park! Siddle has dismissed him 10 times.. Yeah maybe KP thought "I've seen Johnson off, let's get after them.." But it's just constant poor shot selection, I don't think you can pull that ball he's got out to, it's a great catch born the less but shouldn't be playing that shot!
Guest MattP Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 This can't get any worse. Car crash. Some heads to roll here for team selection and performance this series.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 I'm enjoying it! Prior having a mare missed stumping and not going for a catch that's clearly his.
Guest MattP Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 Yeah I bet you are. Was a shocker, Warner has cashed in as well. On the bright bumble has just done a brilliant Bob Willis impression. Any rain about?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 The fact we hadn't won a test in our previous 10 heading to Brisbane. Lost the last 3 ashes and lost 3 nil only a couple months earlier. So this is massive and a massive turn around, boof must take plenty of credit for it.
Guest MattP Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 He's done a grand job, really has. This is complete self implosion now, Prior in a world if his own.
Matt Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 Well erm I don't know what the fuck has happened but all I know is we have lost now.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 Some of the worst keeping I've seen from Prior. His confidence is shot battling with the bat except 2nd dig in Adelaide.
The People's Hero Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 Prior either can't concentrate in this 40 degree heat, the mind games have got to him or he just isn't fit enough. I think a bit of all three. Criminal with the gloves today. I've really enjoyed watching this though. Trying to enjoy it purely as a cricket fan now.
Matt Posted 15 December 2013 Posted 15 December 2013 You can still get 5/2 on Australia winning the series 5-0 with Ladbrokes. Which I think is fantastic value, given the way we're playing. You can also get 12/5 with Bet365.

Wouldn't surprise me if we loosened up once the Ashes are gone. Might happen but 5/2 is poor value.
