Ashes 2013

Barmy army onotop form here.

Really don't deserve the support on this showing.

Still wouldn't take that.

Our strongest two grounds left and the Aussies will probably the the foot of the gas.

Wouldn't surprise me if we loosened up once the Ashes are gone.

Might happen but 5/2 is poor value.

Would say Sydney would suit you guys if it's back to its spinner friendly ways. Siddle and Harris, if Harris is fit will love Melbourne.

Does anyone remember the couple of 7-1 thumpings City had in the early 90's?

I thought at the time when that many goals go in it stops being annoying and actually starts being humourous in a dark way.

I think the same principle applies here.

Depends on what side of the fence you're sitting on

The MCG is going to be horrible. Michael Vaughan described that first sessional the worst he has ever seen by England in all his time playing and watching lol

I'm sure the right decision was made in the end but i'm not quite sure how 33% evidence (snicko, nothing on hotspot or replay) can overturn an on-field decision? Wouldn't be talking about this if Root wasn't given out ofcourse.

Do you really think he didn't hit it?

He was out. Five wickets to win the Ashes.

Free entry tomorrow, Australian fans might be in danger of filling out a ground

Am I right in thinking that Carberry has fallen as soon as a bowler has tried right arm around the wicket against him? He fell to Rhino's first ball around in the first innings and Watson's first ball around in the second (I think). No idea if another bowler tried right arm around earlier in the innings though. I've no idea of this was a technical failing or merely a coincidence but it's one of the few things I've noticed other than the oppressive heat.

It's basically been three identical matches- they win the toss, put on a decent score, bowl us out well below par, pile on the runs second innings (Swann has been smashed to all parts, extremely worrying) then we fall well short.

I just hope we bat long into tomorrow, make them work for the five wickets.
