Finnaldo Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 My great uncle. 4th highest goal scorer in Leicesters history. I also invented rubbers that smell of fruit. Similar to your's actually, my great uncle's Alan Birchenall.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Though some think that picture with me above isn't mancini but my dad!
AKCJ Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 I got chatting to Henry, Viera, Pires and Wiltord in a bar in London. Ended with Pires buying us a round of drinks. Think that might have been the invincible season, too.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 When I was about nine or ten I was on a Politics Show VT on school internet safety with other kids from my primary school in Shepshed (thats NATIONAL television people). A shortened version was also on EMT but I wasn't on it
The Year Of The Fox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Served Roy Chubby Brown when I worked at Virgin. Also served ex City players including James Scowcroft and Stephen Hughes. Woo! Met Cannon and Ball. Was recently an extra in a movie with Sean Bean's ex wife Georgina Sutcliffe and with Leah Bracknell (Zoe Tate from Emmerdale).I have a photo of me with the latter. I'd post it but not allowed to till the movie is released. Have met and had photos with rock band Halestorm. Met Skin from Skunk Anansie. Was an extra in a movie in the 90's with Paul Usher (He played Barry Grant in Brookside) One of my ex uni lecturers (Doug Cockle) was In a couple of episodes of Band of Brothers. Another ex lecturer (Sasha Paul) was in Peak Practice. Think there's more but my mind currently escapes me... Who if anyone in BOB?
Leeds Fox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Played football against Sam Dingle from Emmerdale. Not a charity match, he just played for a team in my old teams division. He was as terrible as you could imagine!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 He`s the main reason why no one wants to go to Coalville.... Theres lots and lots of other reasons but he`s the main one. It's really not that bad unless you drink in Spoons. Still a couple of decent pubs and plenty of totty though admittedly I think they come from out of town. And everyone's heard of Emporium!
StanSP Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 The Year Of The Fox looks like a younger version Bruno Berner. I've been on Countdown (consequently met Jeff Stelling and Rachel Riley) I gave medals to some of the best athletes at the Olympics, including the GB rowing team who won the first gold at London 2012. Met Sir Steve Redgrave, Kobe Bryant, Sir Trevor Brooking, Bruce Willis and Shannon Leto. Monty Panesar used to go to my school and on one of his returns to the school, I got to play a bit of cricket with him. Also same school as Jeremy Irvine (real name Jeremy Smith), star of War Horse. Don Broco also went to the same school.
theessexfox Posted 16 July 2013 Author Posted 16 July 2013 I've just met a few cricketers here and there. Cook, Anderson, Geraint and Simon Jones, Hussain, Willis, etc.

Trying to think of some minor ones. I once danced with Mr Motivator and Urban Cookie Collective on the stage when GMTV used to do the morning workout from Spain. Had a shot of Sambuca with Ricky Hatton. Met everyone involved in British Racing. Shouted "ding dang do" at Paddy McGuiness and he told me to fcuk off.

MikeyT Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Who if anyone in BOB? Not a massive part, but he played the Priest guy in it. 2 episodes I think. He's walking around one of the battles blessing the dead and then the other he is in the forest blessing the soldiers. I forget the names of the specific episodes. EDIT: He's in the 3rd episode called Carentan and think the other is episode 6 Bastogne. That's him here. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0168339/?ref_=sr_1

MikeyT Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 snap Haha. Just posted a link to his IMDB page as well. Didn't realise he was also in Captain America and Reign of Fire.
isaidno Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 I played in a tennis tournament against the guy ranked 457 in the world Won the first set, then crumbled under the pressure and lost the next two. Never hit those "heights" again Is this guy the British number 2 ?
ScouseFox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 I once danced with Mr Motivator and Urban Cookie Collective on the stage when GMTV used to do the morning workout from Spain. Winner. Close thread.
The Doctor Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Not much that I'm aware of, I've been drinking with Howling Lord Hope (leader of the MRLP) when he was running for Bradford West, other than that nothing really.

Kitchandro Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 I was once on football focus commentating when I was 9. I've also been on East Midlands Today singing in front of the bus at a City match and been in the background of Channel 4 racing. My family have better ones, my uncle did some business with Fidel Castro and got World Cup final tickets from Pele (I think). My sister was like the ringleader of the student protests a while ago (not the ones who chucked bricks, but she was standing on a car or something and chanting to the crowd. The nutter.) My grandparents used to go clubbing with Keith Weller and Chris Garland and Dennis Rofe sold them a freezer.
Fox92 Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 The Year Of The Fox looks like a younger version Bruno Berner. - He does actually now I look at it. Shouldn't have put those photos on though, now I'm going to be on the look out for him at away games
Tom17LCFC Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 I've met an Italian World Cup winner, not got a clue who he was but he had a picture of him with the squad (1982 I believe). Owned his own little restaurant on the coast in Tuscany, got a few free shots from him after pretending to know who he was. Met a couple of jockeys and race trainers. I also got Tim Flowers gloves at Birmingham away after La Manga and well, that's it really.
