TJB-fox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 My uncle was on robot wars and know Josh Low and his family!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 YOTF, you're a dead ringer for Marc Almond. I preferred Bruno Berner!
cambridgefox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Fisting? Tiddlywanks? fook me,how did you know?i remember you being shocked at the time watching the tiddlywanks, open mouthed, and wished you hadn't. Everyone is a a bit broad, actually, but most from McCoy to Nicholls to McCririck to Sheikh Mohammed you can put in. Go on then! Knew you are into the horses.See a few around Newmarket high street.I was.....I was......( oh the suspense) Jnr peashooting Champion OF THE WORLD! No shit,it was a world title recognised now in the Guinness book of records and I'm milking every second of fame and fortune that landed my way. Sadly Guinness book of records have only published it in recent years,I must say that would have been nice to have a mention.
Mike Oxlong Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 fook me,how did you know?i remember you being shocked at the time watching the tiddlywanks, open mouthed, and wished you hadn't. Haha yeah. Got me right in the tonsils and then celebrated by pumping your fist in the air and shouting " Back of the throat"
Mike Oxlong Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 I preferred Bruno Berner! Haha. No offence meant. And Soft Cell did knock out some great tunes.
Samilktray Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Smoked a spliff with a semi famous UK rapper on a boat. Met Dennis Wise at Legoland after the Callum Davidson thing. Told him I didnt like Callum Davidson that much either.
The Doctor Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 You need to get out more No, I need to get out of bradford. No-one wants to come here, not even people who live here want to come here.
Mike Oxlong Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 I'd normally only enter McDonald's to use the toilets, but would definitely be attracted onto their premises by the prospect of viewing that....short-sighted management have missed out there. Those ahead of their time are never appreciated. You are clearly the Mozart of McDonald's. Thanks Alf, perhaps we could join up to pitch it to the Dragons. Just think how many meals would be sold when those mums are working up an appetite burning off all those calories with a bit of toy-time!
AaronH Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Rooney told me to **** off at Glastonbury this year Cooked for Sir Les Ferdinand
FoxesAreBlue Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 My mates dad helped to build the space centre so before it opened we all went to test it out where we were filmed, interviewed and broadcast on, wait or it.... GMTV!! Also been in the Mercury and a Rusian Newspaper when we were travelling, still got the Russian one.
Tom17LCFC Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 When I was in Beijing I had people coming up to me asking for a picture with me, I guess that makes me sort of famous!!
Jordan Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 While I never came close to reaching the ice hockey goals I dreamt of as a kid, I've played with, against, and met a few current/recent NHL players and many former players during my years playing growing up. A few notable moments: I learned how to play at Bryan Trottier's rink and once wore his 1991 Stanley Cup ring, was laid out by Pat LaFontaine, and Douglas Murray was on the ice playing defense for my team when I scored my first high school varsity goal. I've gotten to play with and against some very successful curlers since I started playing curling in 2010. Last season, my team beat half of the defending U.S. national men's champions twice. I've also played with and against the current U.S. senior men's champion skip and vice, many times--I've won an intraclub tournament with the skip, and out-shot him big time in a men's league game this winter when we were both the vices on opposing teams. Last January, I filled in as lead for another team from our club for a tournament up in Canada. We made it to the final and played a local team that included the vice (a recent Canadian junior national champion runner-up) and lead for Mark Kean's team, who finished this past season as the 9th-ranked team in Canada and 11th on the World Curling Tour. They kicked our asses and we took home the runner-up prize of CAN $304 , most of which we spent at the duty free shop on the way back.
Wycombe Fox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 When I was in Beijing I had people coming up to me asking for a picture with me, I guess that makes me sort of famous!! Are you very blonde?
Tom17LCFC Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Are you very blonde? In the summer I am yeah. Tall and slim as well which explains it. I love the fact I might be on someone's mantelpiece in China
StanSP Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Stan you met Rachel Riley Yep! Truly delightful experience! BMS? There's a good rumour that Monty never made it past the 2nd XI there, not that I'm sure whether to believe it. Indeed. I wasn't at the school when he was but also heard the same rumour, but then there are pictures and articles in school magazines about him playing for the 1st team! I feel somewhat proud/privileged that I got to attend the same school as people who have gone on to become quite famous.
The Blur Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Not 15 minutes claim to fame- more like 60 minutes claim to fame. I was one of main subjects on a documentary that was on BBC3.

kingfox Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 . I didn't take note of her smell but I'm sure it was nice. Is her arse, as good as it looks on the tele? Last question that is. Don't want to be touted as the next Leicesterpool.
FuriousFox46 Posted 16 July 2013 Posted 16 July 2013 Called the 'lowest of the low' by the Daily Mail.Scored the last 'goal' at Filbert Street
Wycombe Fox Posted 17 July 2013 Posted 17 July 2013 In the summer I am yeah. Tall and slim as well which explains it. I love the fact I might be on someone's mantelpiece in China We had a similar experience in Venice about 7 years ago. My youngest (nine years old at the time) is fair-skinned with absolutely white blonde hair and blue eyes. He was practically mobbed by Japanese tourists wanting to touch his hair and have their photo taken with him. Once one started snapping, there were more Japanese tourists than pigeons in St. Mark's Square!!
Hollism Posted 17 July 2013 Posted 17 July 2013 Hugged Channing Tatum, didn't know who he was, only that he was famous as loads of girl around me were going mental. Still don't really know who he is to be fair. My Grandad was mates with Peter Shilton. Met Andy King at my old school. Interviewed by Kylie Pentalow about Nige coming back. Serve Muzzy Izzet at work fairly often Pretty boring now I think about it
