Wymsey Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 I once gave Dion Dublin's wife a 'pull-up' after she tripped over on a cruise liner.

The Year Of The Fox Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 I once gave Dion Dublin's wife a 'pull-up' after she tripped over on a cruise liner. She probably tripped over his schlong!
Rincewind Posted 21 July 2013 Posted 21 July 2013 My great aunt's brother Sir Frank Whittle. Thought that was Capt Blackadder.

Charl91 Posted 22 July 2013 Posted 22 July 2013 Met Sue Townsend at a funeral.- wake She was in a depressive mood. Really? Why?
Jon the Hat Posted 23 July 2013 Posted 23 July 2013 The first words ever transmitted across the Atlantic were spoken by Guglielmo Marconi to my Great Uncle Samuel Picken.
foxfanazer Posted 23 July 2013 Posted 23 July 2013 From Blink 182?? Where?? How?? Yeah from Blink.I was working at Malmaison hotel in Birmingham where my cousin was general manager. Blink were playing the NIA the following night and were staying at the hotel. My cousin, knowing I'm a massive fan asked if I wanted to meet Mark who was drinking with friends in the bar. Obviously I jumped at the chance and it was amazing! I actually talked a bit of football with him because I knew he supports Chelsea. One of the best experiences of my life
Rincewind Posted 23 July 2013 Posted 23 July 2013 Really? Why? Not sure but she and the deceased partner were discussing and sharing anti-depression pills. Maybe she had writers' block and had not written anything for a while. I remember one book of hers at about that time. The Queen and I. I think where the Ryal family had to move out of Buck Palace and move to an estate on Braunston. There is a book of hers in the Samaritan shop on Granby Street. Diary of a middle aged woman. The bloke who died Chris Challis was a very much liked bloke. Fell down stairs at home after a couple ofwhiskys too many. Only 50. Great loss.
Jon the Hat Posted 23 July 2013 Posted 23 July 2013 My Aunt may well be the longest working computer prgrammer still in employment. Working for 55+ years now.
21st Century Fox Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 I once sat next to the brunette* from Coupling at an Iggy & The Stooges gig (I saw Jarvis Cocker and Noel Fielding in the audience too). I also sat behind Greg from Extras and Nathan Barley at a Louis C.K. gig and also Phil Harding from Time Team (I do pretty much stalk him) at a Peter Green concert. *

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 July 2013 Posted 26 July 2013 Peter Shilton held me as a baby. I called Melanie Blatt from All Saints a MILF when I was about 14. That's about my lot bar City players / Kasabian who everybody's done.
lavrentis Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 I was in Tesco on Narb road and my friend bumped in Futacs.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 I used to work with the 1st team at the stadium.
BoneDog Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 Nearly got ran over by the legend Ian Ormondroyd on Filbert Street. I think he was driving a gold or similar coloured Merc and was doing about 15mph so I would have had some severe bruising if I hadn't used the cat-like goalkeeping skills I had at the time to get out of the way.
Alf Bentley Posted 27 July 2013 Posted 27 July 2013 I was in Tesco on Narb road and my friend bumped in Futacs. I'm confused about this revelation. Was your friend still driving down Narb Road when he bumped in Futacs? If so, is Futacs alright? Given his physique, I imagine that he might have passed straight under the wheels of your friend's vehicle and then floated away on the breeze. How did you know that your friend bumped in Futacs, anyway? Did you glance across the aisles and happen to see the incident through a window or did your friend tell you about it after you'd been to the checkout? What did you buy?

We were inside Tesco, can't remember which aisle but near the entrance. My friend is quite built though obviously not Futacs size, he accidentally walked into his basket, my friend said "sorry", Futacs looked bemused. He was with 1 or 2 other people. I was next to my friend the whole time and he didn't know who he was as he's not a city fan.
theessexfox Posted 27 July 2013 Author Posted 27 July 2013 I've parked next to Ronnie O'Sullivan and seen him around, the moody git! My sister was in the same restaurant as Hugh Grant the other day, fawning over him.
