WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Suprised by the bench. No Vardy? Ideal game for him to build on from Saturday. no Konchesky either?

wacky Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 C'mon Danns show you're worth your spot in the side!!
Bilbo Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Looks like Pearson has learnt a lesson from the cup game (can't remember who we were playing - Huddersfield?) where he put a weakened side out and it started our poor run of form.
Walshy5 Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Dropping Drinkwater after he was the best player on saturday! Not playing vardy is very poor man management aswell. And people wonder why most fans hate pearson! Id sack him at HT!

And people wonder why most fans hate pearson! Id sack him at HT! Or he wants to keep the "in form" players fit for our more important game on Sunday?
brisfox Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Just arrived for the game. Looks like a good turn out from the City fans. Wycombe is a nice ground, stewards are friendly and they play really good prematch music.
Babylon Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Looks like Pearson has learnt a lesson from the cup game (can't remember who we were playing - Huddersfield?) where he put a weakened side out and it started our poor run of form. Weakened side?????
Brooksy Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Someone is fibbing. Probably Stringer to get more radio listeners.
Leicfox Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Nigel Pearson made four changes to the side that beat Middlesbrough as last season's top scorer David Nugent returned to the starting XI for Tuesday night's Captial One cup tie at Wycombe. He replaced Saturday's match winner Jamie Vardy to partner Chris Wood in attack, while Neil Danns joined Matty James and Andy King in a midfield three in place another of Saturday's goalscorers, Danny Drinkwater. The manager stuck with the 3-5-2 formation for the first round match, but with Zak Whitbread injured, Liam Moore was drafted into the back three and Lloyd Dyer replaced Paul Konchesky at left wing back. Corky Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Dropping Drinkwater after he was the best player on saturday! Not playing vardy is very poor man management aswell. And people wonder why most fans hate pearson! Id sack him at HT! People usually hate Pearson because he plays Vardy. What a turnaround.
Fox92 Posted 6 August 2013 Posted 6 August 2013 Dropping Drinkwater after he was the best player on saturday! Not playing vardy is very poor man management aswell. And people wonder why most fans hate pearson! Id sack him at HT! -- Decent side out tonight, pleased we haven't made a lot of changes.
