Sykes999 Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 I feel we have good atmosphere at away games, put at home the fans are poor, what could we do to change this?
LCFC FOX Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Easy really sing louder or get more people to sing
Guest MattP Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Give THEBIGJOHNSTEADER a microphone and get him to rouse the crowd before the game into a sexual frenzy.
mackiepas Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Make L1 over 18's only and kick out all the families that have diluted L1..
Foxymcoxy Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 If we just have a new thread to discuss this every few weeks, then surely a solution will come...Wait we do that already.
Jimmy Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 turn down the volume of music pre game would help, means an atmosphere would have a chance of building up pre game like it used to at Filbo
Tedders Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 sing each chant for longer instead of trying to get through the entire songbook every 5 mins! we dont give it a chance to spread any further than l1 let it travel round to the kop!
Leicesterpool Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Swap the Kop and Family stand We'll never surrender!
theessexfox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Sing slower. Sing WYS more. And sing Zombie Nation!
Tedders Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 what annoys me is i know we can create an atmosphere at the kp playoff against watford at home proved that just dont understand why we need the playoffs as an excuse. feel sorry for the youth of today not getting that buzz when you walk up to your seats and learning the passion for your team from the young age not the moaning and booing and silence of today.
themotivator Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 paper fan slapper clapper things every week.
whoareyaaa Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Blame the internet, mobile phones and the thick ****ers at the club.
Dan Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Less obsession with a 'family matchday experience', lower prices and more fans who'll persistently sing even in dull situations.
Tedders Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Blame the internet, mobile phones and the thick ****ers at the club. they dont help but what did the club do differently at filbert street? a ground can help an atmosphere. yes. but at the end of the day it comes down to the fans they make the noise. nothings stopping them leaving there phones in there pockets thing is as much as we all say we want it to be improved it seems half the people that go to the football these days never seem like they actually want to be "at the football" (if that makes sense) and cant be bothered to get involved.
Leicesterpool Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 There should be more kids for a quid fixtures like they use to do? Also special offers for midweek games
Jimmy Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Kids for a quid makes things worse dilutes an already poor atmosphere
Bluetintedspecs Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 I'm waiting for the person who posts the choreographed video of the orientals jumping up and down side to side, bloody love that video, ridiculous crap but hilarious! BJS on the mic pre match is a good shout too!
shade Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 sing: we love you leicester, we do, we love you leicester we do, ohhh leicester we love you. leicester city, ah ah, ah ah. stand up, if you love leicester.
Larry_LCFC Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Lower the prices so we may actually get above 22k this season.
Tedders Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Less obsession with a 'family matchday experience', lower prices and more fans who'll persistently sing even in dull situations. again most of us started going to the football as a kid and we should encourage that. i dont see how that is an excuse to kill an atmosphere tho. filbert street just as many "familys" at the ground i bet. its not down to the club to create an atmosphere its the fans.
Happy Fox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Get rid of the f**king drum that would be a start!
Monsell1976 Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Less obsession with a 'family matchday experience', lower prices and more fans who'll persistently sing even in dull situations. There is always a place for families at Leicester, the kids are the future supporters, I think banning mobile phones might encourage the teens to pay more attention to creating an atmosphere, as alot in l1 seem to spend alot of time playing with their phones.Agree with reducing ticket prices, and that's the problem with dull football, it kills any atmosphere at any ground, old Trafford is normally noisy all the the game, but the Chelsea game which was dull killed the atmosphere for long periods. The biggest thing for me still is the late arrival to seat pre match and the loud music, I know it's been said before but in the old kop days the atmosphere was started long before kick off as most wanted the best place to stand, so got in really early. Oh and agree with happy fox get rid of the drum, don't have a drum away and atmosphere is good.
