Shame Basel had to bow out after that 2-0 defeat at Schalke. The second goal was miles offside, one can count four blue shirts here:

Laughable. But then again, Basel only have themselves to blame for conceding a stupid red card after only 30 minutes.

Oh, well. The adventure continues in the Europa League.

lol Don't think I've ever seen a goal where four players are offside.

I only caught a replay MC but I thought the red card was a little harsh?

The red card was deserved, Basel's Bulgarian defender Ivanov was the last in line and just couldn't cope with Szalai (who had just come on as a substitute for Höwedes).

Fair enough, I only saw a slow mo side on and it looked like he went over easily.

Can see the four English sides getting the four German again. Each one can only draw one of the other as two of each came first and two of each came second.

Dortmund v Man City

Man Utd v Schalke

Chelsea v Leverkusen

Bayern v Arsenal

That'd be interesting lol

Arsenal beat Bayern last year. Think they'd do it again if that was the case.

I'd like to see Utd go up against Dortmund if that's possible.

Man City vs Barcelona! - hopefully City are distracted for tomorrow lol

Olympiakos vs Man Utd - easy

AC Milan vs Atletico Madrid

Leverkusen vs PSG

Galatasaray vs Chelsea - Mourinho & Drogba reunite...

Schalke vs Real Madrid

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich

Zenit vs Dortmund

I fancy every group winner there to get through. Barcelona/Bayern have the hardest games though.

Dortmund & Man Utd should walk theirs.

You'd fancy Real Madrid in that.

PSG/Leverkusen's a decent one. I'd fancy the Parisians but Leverkusen (ignoring the Man Utd result) aren't a bad side.

Atletico will beat Milan for me.

Chelsea will scrape through theirs. Can see them losing away.

How do United do it!?

Ridiculous isn't it. Absolutely unreal the amount of luck they get in draws.

Arsenal get Bayern for the second year running. Ouch.

Agree with most but I think Arsenal could get through vs Bayern again. Bayern only just got through 3-3 last season winning on away goals but Arsenal have the confidence of going to Germany already this season and winning. Plus there's the confidence of being top of the league (currently and ignoring the one result this weekend). Should be a great tie, as should Man City vs Barca.

Think PSG, Dortmund, Atletico, Galatasaray, Utd will go through.

Mourinho got what he wanted with the reuniting with Drogba. Be careful what you wish for, Jose...

Chelsea are the ones that always get the easy draws, theirs are certainly nearly always much more favourable than United.

It really does make you wonder doesn't it.

People saying they tweeted every possible outcome and then deleted the wrong ones.
