Jimothy Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 I tweeted about Anderlecht finishing with 8 men and got called a willy puller by one of them What's your twitter handle? With the cycling thing and now this you might be quite funny to follow.
Dan Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 @DanLCFC93 He was talking to me after. Not sure if he was genuinely pissed off or not - there's your culture difference I suppose.
ScouseFox Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Gala/Juve is ridiculous. Snowing again, pitch is just one massive slushy mess haha. Still using a white ball, though.
ScouseFox Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Wahey, after about 10 minutes of invisibility we've got a bright orange ball. Old skool.
morris1234 Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Can someone explain how man city missed out as they didn't score 1 more goal? From the videos I've seen they are saying its simple goal difference maths and I'm like, well no, 1 more goal would've put city on +9 and Munich down to +11 I think??

From the videos I've seen they are saying its simple goal difference maths and I'm like, well no, 1 more goal would've put city on +9 and Munich down to +11 I think?? It goes on head to head first. City lost 3-1 at home so if they'd won 4-2 away then away goals on the head to head vs Bayern would've seen them come top.
ScouseFox Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Galatasaray nick it late on. Juve going out unless they find something in the last few moments. Bit of a shock, sure they'll blame the pitch/postponement etc.

ScouseFox Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Was this on tele? My stream is of Sky Sports (or at least it says it is in the corner) so I guess so. Mental conditions and a pretty shit game because of it. Juve will be kicking themselves a bit because I think they settled for a draw assuming that in these conditions nobody would produce anything (and it looked like they were right). They were having 2 or 3 people in the box from corners, wasting time and stuff and now they're out.
Dan Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 They've won. Had a feeling Gala would go through. Very, very hard place to go.
Dan Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 They've done some pretty harsh things over the years but knocking out an old lady? That's taking the piss.
Corky Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Tevez knocked out by Mancini. Hope he enjoys his trip to Wigan in the Europa League.
lavrentis Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Hope Olympiacos draw an English team coz then I will go in the away end at the English team leg
Guest MattP Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Conte has a right to be fuming to be fair. That pitch wasnt suitable and they would never have started a match on it, with the next round not until Feb time they had ample time to reschedule it rather than dragging them out at midday the day after. UEFA are utterly clueless. Players would have been in bed at 11pm-midnight earliest and probably had to be up at 7am to prepare with pre match meals etc, not a way for professional athletes in the Worlds biggest club competition to be treated.
notnow john Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 It's time to stop the ridiculous charade of multiple mascots. There is something uncomfortable about Watching small children being instructed to hold hands with strangers. Apart from the time Sean Wright Philips mascot was six inches taller than him!!

It's ludicrous to restart a game the following day at the 34th minute. I can't remember any examples of this happening before... I'm sure someone will come up with one from the archives.
MC Prussian Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 Basel now facing a tough test in the second half against Schalke. They're down to 10 men and need to cling on to the draw to qualify for the next round.

Guest MattP Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 The Celtic and St Pauli get together in Barcelona tonight. not that I'm that fussed but it would have been later than that as juve actually had to check out the hotel and find another. That's absoutely incredible, pisspoor effort from UEFA.

Guest MattP Posted 11 December 2013 Posted 11 December 2013 talksport spoke to a turkish journalists after todays 59mins and he confirmed juve had to move hotels. That's absolutely terrible. Juventus should be kicking off about this bigtime.

One of the things about being a gambler is you remember events like that Real won it 2-1, they missed a penalty and then scored in the last minute I think. Everyone was backing them at 7/2.
