sphericalfox Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 EDIT - should have realised it was posted already.
kingcarr21 Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 The Irony from Sepp Blatter is on a whole new level.
Beliall Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 I think it's US only, but there are ways around the region lock, especially on Firefox. *Cough* Hula *Cough* thanks
LanguedocFox Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 There's a really superb article about Fifa, Blatter and the corruption issue in the New York Times, of all places: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/08/opinion/sunday/throw-fifa-out-of-the-game.html?_r=0. Well worth reading.
lgfualol Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Sepp Blatter is the largest ****. Oh no, they're actually starting to act on how corrupt we all are, better throw out the racist card. Bunch of scum, the lot of them.
Buzzell Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Sepp Blatter making himself, again, look like an absolute tool. The sooner he's kicked out the door at FIFA, the better.
act smiley Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Looks like he's determined to make as much of a twat of himself as possible in his remaining time in power. He's got plenty of life left in him yet, it's all about getting the most corrupt onside for his election campaign. Besides, who else is there really? That sanctimonious bought-and-paid-for **** Platini? They're all shady as ****, at least Blatter is fun to laugh at in the process.
MooseBreath Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 To be so brazenly ridiculous about pulling the race card would suggest to me he's getting a bit worried. It has the air of desperation about it. Hopefully the scumbag is going to get locked up.

Hopefully the scumbag is going to get locked up. To be fair it's a good shout, it's often been used to good effect to excuse wrongdoings, just look at what grooming gangs and the 'trojan horses; have got away with whipping the old card out. He is loved by the African and Asian football associations though, he has bribed, begged and given to them on a scale like no other and they carry so many votes between them it will be hard to get rid of him. He's like FIFA's version of Gordon Brown.
Raj Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27787841 Dutch FA president Michael van Praag told Blatter, 78, he should not seek re-election in 2015. Atleast one of the olde school has the balls to tell him to Fook off. Blatter is a dictator and should be treated as such....
Nalis Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Complete respect to van Praag, good to see someone has the balls from within to stand up to Blatter.
Kitchandro Posted 10 June 2014 Author Posted 10 June 2014 The Football Associations are starting to do what they should have done years ago. The fix that was 2002 World Cup should have been the final straw. People laughed at the idea of corruption then. We've let it carry on until it's ruined at least one world cup more. Blatter has had so much power over the last 10 or so years, now everyone is picking at his corpse. The Qatar world cup vote may have been just a fix too far. It won't stop because Blatter is out of course, nobody in FIFA is above suspicion. Still, I'd love him to get thrown in jail or worse.
marko Posted 11 June 2014 Posted 11 June 2014 2026 World Cup to be hosted on Jupiter. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jun/11/sepp-blatter-fifa-football-planets?CMP=twt_gu
Kitchandro Posted 11 June 2014 Author Posted 11 June 2014 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27790815 @rsew@nk. 'I know, I'll do this silly dance to distract everyone from those corruption allegations. Genius once again, Sepp'.
Beliall Posted 11 June 2014 Posted 11 June 2014 I have never understood why a world cup would be awarded to a country to host that doesnt have good enough stadiums, or any stadiums. Host it in any euro country and the infrastructure is there.

I sky plus it.
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Interesting to see that Platini has distanced himself away from Blatter. And has publically stated as much. The writing is on the wall for the fat, sweaty t..t and God knows it's time that FIFA had a big shake up.
act smiley Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Yeah, Platini's clearly gunning for Blatter's job. Didn't work out too well for the last guy that tried that though. In other related news, the FA are under investigation for putting on a ridiculous dinner as part of their attempt to get Warner onside.http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27862492
