Pearson stated when he choose to stay that he was still very much a big part of his plans. I think the only reason we considered selling him was the wages, he is a good player at this level even though we are overpaying him.

Weak in midfield we will get over run knocky dyer and drinkwater can't put a decent tackle in between them. But at least we have pace and hopefully that will make Wigan back off and play long and by pass midfield.

The bench is a little interesting in my opinion, no Bakayogo or Danns, Hopper ahead of both.

 

Konchesky back in as well, is a big call, was pretty happy with Schlupp at left-back, and I think Pearson has made a mistake, especially with Dyer starting, that left side against Birmingham when Dyer came on, with Schlupp supporting at left-back, absolutely tore them apart. Schlupp and Dyer have great understanding.

 

But anyway, will be nice to go to the KP again.
