Ah just like the old days. A poll from Leicesterpool. I feel like this should be accompanied by some harp glissando and the screen going all wavy

Why the fvck would anyone employ Steve Kean? He never should have been given the Blackburn job, was shit at it, there are a lot of available candidates out there that have more on their C.V. than ruined an established premiership club and drunken slagged off Sam Allardyce.

I think it should be down to McClaren to take them into League One

Is that not why we want him at derby?

What a shit job to take. Next to no money and wild expectations in a fiercely competitive league.

I'd not be surprised if McClaren takes it, just to try and save his reputation in this country after he made a mess at Forest.

Wally with a brolly :D

They want him, his work at Forest will be forever remembered and it was unfortunate he couldn't complete the job there... He will do the job everyone wants at Derby, League One football.

I think McClaren is actually a decent manager but he often picks difficult jobs and gets a lot of stick before he even starts.

That will certainly excite the Derby fans  lol So i guess the Derby board are hoping the fans have forgotten he use to manage Forest!

To be honest the guy does well at clubs with less expectancy, you can't forget he led Middlesbrough to a regular top ten premier league finish plus he won them there first trophy in 2004 and in 2006 took them to the uefa cup final. He also went onto manage FC Twente and won them the dutch title. An impressive CV but you can't ignore that he managed England and failed to qualify for the euro's , had a disaster start at both Wolfsberg and Forest plus did nothing in his return at FC Twente.

He spends a ****ing fortune. He did at all his clubs. At Forest he swanned about the place presenting an air of '**** you, I managed England'. Now that might get you respect in certain quarters but in the Championship it cuts no mustard.

We still have players he signed that we cant shift who are on massively inflated wages so why would they leave?

I wouldn't wish him on anyone.
