bovril Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 Bloody hell, Race For Sport demands that Hodgson undergoes 'cultural intelligence' training.
Guest MattP Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 If it is Defoe then, it would look good if we dropped purely because it would make Hodgson look bad, we not he's racist and didn't mean to offend anybody but people may think Defoe as been dropped because he accused the manager of racism. Its just up to Hodgson and Defoe to kiss and make up. He'll have been dropped for taking personal things out the dressing room and running to the ,media with it, it's disgraceful in every way shape and form. Bloody hell, Race For Sport demands that Hodgson undergoes 'cultural intelligence' training. These people are actually becoming parodies of themselves.

Guest MattP Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 You may not be surprised to hear that Race For Sport is an off-shoot of the Society for Black Lawyers I really want to know who is funding these groups.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 You may not be surprised to hear that Race For Sport is an off-shoot of the Society for Black Lawyers Which is an off-shot of the Dual Heritage Appreciation Guild (of which you're a member)
Alexikokopops Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 I really want to know who is funding these groups. The Society For Black Lawyers is particularly ridiculous. Look at their response compared to Kick It Out who basically said "we heard there was a bit of a kerfuffle, we were a bit worried before all the facts came out but now we're satisfied there was nothing malicious". I mean, I'm a left leaning Guardian reader who will stick up for anyone's right to get outraged at the most innocuous of things and I'm finding this utterly ludicrous. The big issue is that a player leaked this to the press.
Alexikokopops Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 Which is an off-shot of the Dual Heritage Appreciation Guild (of which you're a member) It would the Libyan milkman that is my real grandfather if I just stood back and ignored my dual heritage.

They really on funding to survive, they have to find racism to survive, if their isn't any they go away so expect them make a mountain out of anything that they can find. Give people an inch and they take a mile, times that by ten when it comes to "racism".
Dan Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 http://talksport.com/football/herbert-fa-have-swept-racism-row-under-carpet-13101764525 Whoa, hold on everyone, the Society of Black Lawyers are involved, predictably. How are they allowed to exist? They're more racist than anyone I know.
breadandcheese Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 This is one of the most ridiculous situations I have seen in football and can't believe it's still making headlines. Stan Collymore has it bang on when he said: "Someone leaked it and I bet 100% confident that no player was offended, not one," Collymore wrote on Twitter."If they are, do explain why. Racism is hard enough to keep on the agenda as it is without making everyone think a legitimate space tale should be a cause for offence."Demeans every anti racism campaigner by having cheap pop at RH who said NOTHING WRONG. Makes campaigners seem over PC & petty. They're not."
Dan Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 These 'anti-racist' organisations are the biggest racists out there.
Corky Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 Bloody hell, Race For Sport demands that Hodgson undergoes 'cultural intelligence' training. I love the fact that a man who has lived and worked around the world, in different continents and with people of all different races, religions, nationalities needs without any hint of a racism storm in the past needs "cultural intelligence" training on the basis of an inoffensive joke
Guest MattP Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 These 'anti-racist' organisations are the biggest racists out there. They always have been, the sort of people involved with them are often very nasty people with cynical agendas.
Dan Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 They always have been, the sort of people involved with them are often very nasty people with cynical agendas. I cannot believe what I'm reading. Next it'll be "Society of we hate white people claim Roy Hodgson actually donates half of his wages to Zenit St Petersburg"
Captain... Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 3.55 slow mo, he elbows the keeper in the face, it's a clear as a foul as you get. He probably did 'want it more' doesn't mean you can let a foul go because of it. Whilst he did catch him in the face with the elbow, it's not that blatant, and we all know Shearer can do blatant, just ask Lennon, but it is a definite foul as he clearly impeded the goalkeeper and stopped him getting the ball, which he probably would have done if it wasn't for Shearer. I was gutted at the time.
Guest MattP Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 I cannot believe what I'm reading. Next it'll be "Society of we hate white people claim Roy Hodgson actually donates half of his wages to Zenit St Petersburg" I genuinely believe within ten years they will have forced through some sort of quota system to ensure a certain amount of brown faces on the pitch or in the dugout.

Embarrassing stuff really
Uncle Albert Posted 18 October 2013 Author Posted 18 October 2013 I'm just waiting for Rio Ferdinand to stick his duck faced beak in and get involved.
Mike Oxlong Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 Think it's those that are complaining who are the racists as they obviously make a link between black people and monkeys. If Hodgson had made the same connection you can be sure that he would never have told that joke.
Super_horns Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 Bloody hell, Race For Sport demands that Hodgson undergoes 'cultural intelligence' training. He probably has more than enough awareness of different cultures having worked all across Europe and the world through his career!
Tielemans63 Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 If the player had had the balls to speak to the manager instead of squealing to the press then these self-important groups wouldn't have had any ammo. As others have said, whoever the mole is he should not be picked again as he can't be trusted. His back-handed efforts to discredit Hodgson has probably cost him his place in the international set-up - bloody deserves it too the knobhead.

Good point, the only people in this day and age who seem to compare black people to monkeys are this lot.
Mike Oxlong Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 If he got the sack, got appointed manager of the England women's team and told the same joke swapping the monkey for dog or bitch then I might think there was more to it.
foxfanazer Posted 18 October 2013 Posted 18 October 2013 Rooney is the closest thing we have to a monkey in our side anyway
