foxfanazer Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 The first series of prison break is some of the best tv I've ever seen. Anybody that has given up on breaking bad has made a big mistake
Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 October 2013 Posted 29 October 2013 Firefly - I didn't bother with the 2nd series.
Phube Posted 30 October 2013 Posted 30 October 2013 As much as you can agree with the man... and not to defend X-Factor etc. But you can put all the time/work/practice into your music (and some X-Factor contestants don't just ruck up hoping to be a singer, most (of the older ones) have probably been singing in choirs/clubs/pubs etc for years) at some point you WILL have to face a man (men/women) in a suit who will tell you are(n't) good enough.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 Buzzcocks has been shit for the majority since Amstell (who I preferred to Mark Lamaar even though he was class) left. Peter ****ing Andre and Eamonn ****ing Holmes as guest hosts?! Give me a ****ing break. Huey Morgan going absolutely ****ing bananas on tonight's episode made it the best in years. Paul Foot and Laura Whitmore as well. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Guest Bilo Posted 4 November 2013 Posted 4 November 2013 I judge people who watch TOWIE, Geordie Shore and Made in Chelsea.

Dan Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 As much as you can agree with the man... and not to defend X-Factor etc. Can see both this and his points. I think some people's ridiculous delusion needs putting into place but Grohl has a point.
Fox92 Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 Buzzcocks was really funny last night. Why did Morgan get so angry? I don't get it, because they were his lyrics? Throwing that mug was well dangerous! "You need 7 to win, but I suggest not winning to avoid upsetting him even more" lol
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 Have to agree with people saying Simpsons. Never used to miss an episode and remember getting to the end of Super Sundays and switching over to Sky 1 in time for every episode. But then found myself switching off new episodes from 2004-5 onwards. Just lost its humour and looked too 'new' with modern animation technology....
whoareyaaa Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 Shamless, first season was ok never really liked it though to be honest.
potter3 Posted 5 November 2013 Posted 5 November 2013 Lost, Heroes, 24. Generally American action/drama shows that they spin out for far too long to make more $$$.
frotto Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 Oz during its second season. I'm not actually sure why I stopped watching it, wasn't bad at all.

The Simpsons has been rubbish for nearly 10 years!!! That makes me feel old, I've got seasons 4 and 5 on DVD, absolute classics.
Webbo Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 The last 2 or 3 series of Family Guy have been poo all bar the odd episode. American Dad isn't as good as it has been either.
Len Finsbury Posted 6 November 2013 Posted 6 November 2013 I gave up on Lost quite early. I liked the initial concept but then a bloody polar bear appeared and that was it. I usually get in to stuff long after it's finished. Prison Break and Breaking bad being two of them that I've watched the whole lot after they'd been aired. I'm looking forward to Walking Dead and Dexter next.
morris1234 Posted 7 November 2013 Posted 7 November 2013 Those talking of The Walking Dead. I love it but am left frustrated by its pace. They seem to make huge revelations and decisions in such a short time but the acting out of them can take 2 even 3 episodes or what can seem a big task is done in half of one. Also, season 4 is just a bit too far with the new characters. We are supposed to care for people we don't know so its obvious they will be walker fodder. My main gripe however is it just seems like one bad thing, then another, then another. There's no context or sense of normality at times. Although they showed the prison change at the beginning of season 4, and them sitting around playing happy families isn't good viewing, but it's just constant. Season 1 was brilliant as it showed the changes in the world at the same time, wasnt just zombies / governor/ new threat/ another new threat etc
