Manchesterred Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 Seen a picture on twitter last season of him with a pot belly. Can we see this picture? It sounds to me a similar thing to similar Berbatov over the pre season. People saying he's lazy and got a "pot belly" but he soon shut them up when he uploaded the pic of his 6pac. Clothing can be deceiving.
Libertine Dream Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 I'd put him in for King next game. He didn't do anything wrong really, got a stupid sending off and can't get into a winning team which is as it should be. I was quite impressed with him and Hammond against Fulham, it's an area where we'll need rotation at times and they've just got to be patient
marko Posted 17 November 2013 Posted 17 November 2013 That was Drinkwater. Of course it was http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/81680-matty-james-man-u/

Tommy G Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 He needs to sort his weight out if he wants to be a regular XI player
muzzy1981 Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Deserve some more game time, if anything just to keep him sharp as it is highly likely he will be called upon. Wish that king would occasionally be dropped, he's too much of a Pearson shoe in
The Horse's Mouth Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 I get more horny over you, than I do over a video of Rachel Riley, and that is saying something. the feeling is mutual.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Didn't call him crap, like I did with De Laet. Who on a scale, I was right about. Well, no.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Still a very good player, can't believe how fickle some fans are. He's our best midfielder at the club, no question. Well given the form of Drinkwater this season and the almost immeasurable influence he has on games when on song, and with King having made over 250 appearance for us by the age of 25 I'd say yes - it absolutely can be bloody questioned. Ridiculous thing to say. I'll call James the club's best midfielder "without question" when I've seen him consistently dictate games in the manner the aforementioned two have. Good player, yes - but let's not over-egg it for the sake of countering arguments.
LCFC FOX Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 A 4-3-3 with James, King and Drinky in the middle today as Knockaert is injured. I think all three of them are good and will be premier league players
lgfualol Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Having a great game apparently. Andy King may have just done him a favour, and probably lost his place.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Pleased for him today as we all know he's quality. We thought he'd be absolute key this season and he did have a good start to the season but ended up getting suspended. Since then Drinkwater has rightly kept him out the side.
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Said it time over.. I don't like King away from home when we aren't controlling the game. I've said this for a long long time. However, the proponents of 'King can do no wrong' of course won't agree.
kingfox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I said it ever since we played against Peterborough in our opening game last season. This guy is bloody good.
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I said it ever since we played against Peterborough in our opening game last season. This guy is bloody good. Yet you wrote him off before you saw him play.
marko Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I said it ever since we played against Peterborough in our opening game last season. This guy is bloody good. Go to post 3 in the thread I posted on the previous page. It just shows how much rubbish you talk.
kingfox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Yet you wrote him off before you saw him play. Because he came from United. And it was around that time, when all these Man Utd youngsters were starting to piss me off. I had a mental break down you know, and needed counselling for it.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Could James be a contender for MOTM despite only playing the 2nd half? Though I suspect Nugent will get it?
Stadt Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 James showed his class today, he is a very intelligent player and uses the ball superbly. Played Matty.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Hammond wasn't great today and James almost did his role for him and more. Drinkwater was also different class for the second goal
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I think we should go with: Hammond Drinkwater James away from home.
Kitchandro Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I think we should go with: Hammond Drinkwater James away from home. When Knocky's back there should still be room for him. There is some myth about him disappearing away from home because he's french and skillful, but he's won us games with his goal and assists home and away. Hammond was obviously brought in for a reason but I'm yet to see him do anything that James can't do - and James is a better all round player. Also, we've not done badly away from home this season, we've had some good displays with King in the side. And I'm someone who actually agrees that he can go missing in away games.
