dynamark Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Be interesting on the night .Absolute guarantee there will be empty seats all over the place even though those seats are paid for.Times ive booked and found the row half empty.Enjoy if you are in!
C-man Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Think I've said it before but worth repeating - I think giving season ticket holders an extra five will improve the atmosphere no end. Will mean bigger groups of mates are together and given fans never want to be the 'only one' singing, this'll give everyone a timely boost. Certainly the case with the extra 10 I took in SK1. They'll have a right go.
Munshi Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 someone has offered me £40 but did the right think and sold it him for face value! Your not getting any rep points sorry to disappoint.
Russell sprout Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 someone has offered me £40 but did the right think and sold it him for face value! I think your entitled to charge what you want, Why should a daytripper pay the same price as us sth, If the club aren't rewarding us then we should reward ourself at another's expense, They wouldn't walk in tesco and say 'I'm not paying £ for that,I want it at the cost price you paid',make a few quid and pay for your night out?

Why do you need rewarding? You already get your 23 league games at a discounted rate.
Russell sprout Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Why do you need rewarding? You already get your 23 league games at a discounted rate. Yet the fans who are going man city game, fulham game, derby game in cup pay the same price as someone who stumps out £500 a season, Not to mention the tax dodgers paying £5 for the forest game,so like the club,if I had an opportunity to charge what I like to help finance my ticket then I wouldn't think twice?
dannythefox Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 I missed 2 home games last season and 3 the season before missed 2 up to now this year and I never got a sniff of a ticket. Cant get a season ticket because of work, it pisses me off that people will be going to this game who haven't even been this season!

Why don't you let the club know what you're doing? Your no better than a ticket tout, if you've genuinely bought extra tickets to sell at a profit you're a scumbag!!

If you could learn to read,I said if an opportunity came to sell a ticket I would, did not say I brought a ticket to tout,if you don't like my opinion then that's your problem,if we got to the play off final last season and you couldn't get a ticket, the would you pay more than the face value or not go?ild guess you wouldn't go otherwise that would make you a scumbag?

How is work stopping you getting a ST,you've said you hardly miss a game.Sorry but I don't get it.
NathanBlueFox Posted 19 November 2013 Author Posted 19 November 2013 Your not getting any rep points sorry to disappoint. dont want them, just some people on here were giving me a hard time for accepting a £40.00 offer and not selling for face value, so just confirmed that i changed my mind.
Boooom Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Just a quick question on this one...I've been lucky enough to get tickets for this one for me and my son but it's the first sold out game we've been too. We had to get 2 tickets separated by one seat as I assume the seat in the middle was already sold on its own. Anyone had this before and been able to swap a seat with someone once there? I'd prefer not to be separated from him as he's only 11! Cheers
rico Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 My ST is inbetween 2 lads who are mates, i always swap seats with them every home game

You're encouraging it, if I couldn't get a ticket for face value and we were in a play off final I would watch it on tv, I'm not lining some dirty cretins pocket, but we're not in the play off final so I'm not sure what your point is.
GingerrrFox Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Personally don't see the problem with ticket touts and why people act like they are the spawn of the devil. It's just like everything in life, buy and resell. If there is high demand the price goes up. It's like going into Tesco and buying a loaf of bread they sell it to you at a higher price than it cost them. Simple business practice.

My point is if you hav'nt got a ticket, and there was one availible at a more expensive price than face value,I myself would pay so much for one,we'll agree to disagree, but I'm not being called a scumbag by someone who doesn't like my opinion?

Cant get a season ticket because of work, it pisses me off that people will be going to this game who haven't even been this season! To be honest you might as well get a ST anyway if you miss so few games. It still pays to have one as you can afford to miss a few and it's still cheaper than on a match by match basis. I have a ST for 10 years but quite often miss 2 or 3 games a season,

Russell sprout Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 I meant touts are scumbags, if your not selling tickets for a profit then you're not a scumbag. I have a spare ticket,if I got offered more than I paid for it,that wouldn't make me a ticketout let alone a scum bag.a tout is somone who purposely buys tickets to make a profit without an interest in they event,if someone had a spare ticket who is going to the fame(like myself) and someone who could not get a ticket offered me lets say £40,for a £20 ticket,I wouldn't say 'no mate, here's £20 change?ild bite his hand off???

You would still be guilty of profiteering so that makes you a sort of tout!... Sell it for face value, how hard is that to understand?

Price fluctuates due to supply and demand. Fans of the same club should not be profiting from selling on tickets, its not the done thing.
Ash79 Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Unfortunately it's a buyers market, the tickets are worth what someone's willing to pay for them... Ironically I've forgone the Man City game to get a ticket to the Millwall game instead... ... Remember if you all stand together and refuse to pay any more than face value for the ticket then the touts have no other option but to sell them for what they're worth.

If you're only missing 2-3 matches a season I think you should seriously consider getting a season ticket.
