Man City Sold Out

Recommended Posts

I have read all of the comments regarding season ticket holders being allowed up to six tickets each. All of the complaints have been noted as have all of the responses.

My view for what it's worth is, it looks as if the club did the right thing in letting ST holders have this number of tickets since the game is now sold out.

Something that never happened for the Fulham game (these also being a Premiership side, although not as glamorous).

For all those that have complained about this I can simply say tough.

Those of you that use this site, know most of us that are ST holders, all it would have taken to get a ticket was a p.m. to some of us asking if we could get you one.

I, as I'm sure many others, would if not having taken up our full allocation would duly have obliged.

I for one, had I been asked could have purchased  two other tickets for FT users.

Ok. go ahead if you want and shoot be down on this, do I care no!

Just remember that next time we have a big game where the chances are tickets will be scarce, I along with many other ST holders simply need to be asked if we could help you get a ticket.

I would certainly be willing to oblige if being in a position to do so.

Maybe it would be an idea to setup up a message board for next time a big game comes along, so people wanting tickets and people willing to help get them could work together.

You've got to draw the line somewhere though? If someone offered you £10,000 for your Forest ticket, would you?

My mate offered me hundreds for my Watford away..........

i think it is all relative to how much wealth you have. Would i have sold my forest ticket for £10,000? yes.

I just clicked on the link out of curiosity (i already have my ticket ) . If you buy 2 on there for £160 each they then charge you £57.60 handling fee on top . Robbing barstewards

I don't think I'd have sold mine for 200 if it came down to it, was just airing a figure. The prospect of missing what could be (and indeed was) the best game I've ever been too would've been too much.

Interesting topic really, how do you put a value of those kind of experiences?

Theyre priceless and I think I'd have refused an offer of 5 k hsd i had one.

Well said Harry!

Wrong, it's not well said.

He is still making on a fellow blue which is out of order.

If you have a spare or can't go sell the ticket for face value.

How hard is that for people to understand?

Eta. I know Harry didn't make a profit but was explaining if he did.

Are you telling me everyone who's brought a ticket is a fan,the answers no,does everyone on here no someone who could have got them a ticket,99.9%,

There has been plenty of touts buying tickets to make a profit,it's unfortunate but hey, that's life whether we like it or not,if someone is desperate for a ticket then the likelihood is they will have to pay more than face value,it's quite hypocrital that it's not ok for a tout to tout a ticket, yet it's acceptable for someone to buy one off a tout,

I'm on the fence with the rights and wrongs of this and understand all views,

And as previously stated we are all gonna have to agree to disagree on this topic?

It's easy to say that having won the game but were you actually in that position and not knowing the result I can imagine anyone having a serious think about that kind of money. It was only priceless because we got the right result.

As much as we all love our club, and that season I think I really earnt that ticket, I don't believe there's anyone out there who wouldn't consider selling at a certain amount. Bit embarrassed to be talking about this because I wasn't considering it at the time and I've made people think I was. It's the best thing I've ever owned to be quite honest with you.

Spares are different, they have to go for face value because they're not yours IMO - no-one can own multiple tickets or the multiple match day experiences that they equate to.

Mines for sale for £9950.

ok I'll take someone paying my wives credit card, argos account and next account. However I'm not willing to disclose the figure. Feeling lucky????

I did sell my Forest away ticket last season because between P1 day and the game something happened which meant I wouldn't go. It never crossed my mind to ask for more than the face value.

Within minutes posting it on here I had numerous emails some with silly offers, yes I could have made money but that wasn't why I was selling it.

All this talk of touts selling them on. Were not Barcelona or Real Madrid.

I can't see there being touts stood outside the ground that night trying to sell tickets on.

Surely a fan should be able to buy a ticket from the ticket office.  Since when have STHs become ticket sales middle men???  Basically this is giving the STHs the say on who goes to a BIG match, so I do not agree at all. By all means reward the STHs, but once again, the club should not forget the other fans.

I often give away my ST for nothing to my mates if i cant make the game, wouldnt dream of charging them

This.

Standard procedure if any of our ST group cant make a game.

Same here. How stingy can you be for charging someone on a ST you've already paid for but shall be sat in the draw not being used?

Since nobody bothered turning up against Fulham.

The club want to sell out, they don't give a crap which Leicester fans get the tickets, they just want bums on seat. It worked as we've sold out, so well done to the club.

If more non season ticket holders had got up off their arse for other games including Fulham, I'm sure the club wouldn't have done what they did.

But we're obviously going to sell out against Man City regardless. It's silly to compare Fulham with Man City.

What we've ended up with is some people who went to Fulham not being able to get one for Man City yet people who didn't go to Fulham (and maybe no other games either) did get one just because they were fortunate enough to know an ST holder.

It should have sold out naturally, there was no need to force it in a way that benefits some and hinders others.

I realise the club don't care who buys the tickets, but the fans do, hence why some people are disappointed they didn't get one. Hardly well done to the club from me, and it shouldn't be from you unless you have the same agenda as them.

No chance, even had Fulham been two thirds full they would still have no problem changing around ticket arrangements on order to sell out.

Let's not make out the club genuinely cares about fans. They would sell to tourists if they would pay more and sell out the ground over loyal fans.

If Fulham had been two thirds they wouldn't have had to change ticketing, as clearly the indication was we'd sell out for this was. As it was, no fecker turned up which obviously scared them.

Who said the club care about fans?
