brisfox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 I am sorry but I have no sympathy for the moaners about not getting a ticket. I am a season ticket holder and go to most away games, including Ipswich tomorrow. I was able to get a spare ticket for my son, Paul, who lives in Bristol but isn't a season ticket holder holder. Do I feel guilty? Absolutely not! If you couldn't get a ticket it is because of the following; 1) You are not a season ticket holder. 2) You have no mates who are season ticket holders 3) You are too tight to buy a membership card. If you are sitting at home complaining about the lack of tickets, where you when we played Yeovil, Carlisle or Wycombe away midweek? I would bet you weren't at any or all of those games. I was and Paul was at Wycome and Yeovil. Enough said.

Most of them will tell you they couldn't afford it, or they had shifts to work, or they had to look after the kids - problems that all magically disappeared once the Man City game was announced. Wish people would just be honest and say they wanted to go because it's Man City we're playing, who cares what anyone else thinks? Personally, I'm really not that fussed about this game, I'd take Forest at home, or a good away day over this every day of the week.
ithuriel Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 From what I've read on here, I used to feel a little sorry for season ticket holders not getting any real perks after paying up a lot but not anymore, not after seeing so much bitterness and scorn they have shown. Next time there is a pie and pint thing or what ever and you start complaining you know peeps are just going to be laughing at you from now on . I work shifts and normally would not be able to make this but I have that week off so I thought I'd try and make it but then heard it was sold out, what is funny is that some of the day shift lot where I work who hardly go have managed to get tickets through contacts Still, I will be there at the Millwall game next Saturday to see some scintillating erm,..football, perhaps

RonnieTodger Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Same thing happened to me. How did you know they were on reserve? Did they ring you up? Sorry mate, only just read this. Yes, I rang up initially to demand a refund after being charged £46 for three U22 tickets that I couldn't even have. They apologised and said they'd ring back to confirm the refund. When they did rang back, the chap on the phone said "do you still want a refund?". I asked what he meant by still, and he told me that when the system crashes after you've selected the seats and gone through the payment section, the seats get put on hold. Obviously I obliged and he told me they'll be in the post! The other weird thing was, I bought the seats on three separate rows as that's all that was left. I checked the online receipt and i've got three together. Amazing change of fortunes.

I was and Paul was at Wycome and Yeovil. Enough said. Wrong, I was at Yeovil and was very nearly unable to get a ticket. I know people that couldn't get one and did go to Yeovil. It's very easy to look down on the unlucky ones when your ticket is secured. Hate this attitude more than people who moan at not getting a ticket.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Well I don't have a ticket, didn't go to Yeovil, so there you are and I just could not be arsed to waste good time and money using the phone/Internet systems. I guess I could have asked FT member to get me one as I have no mates who are SST's and I know how much the club values my support, so come Boxing Day is it the new years chase or reading at home ? Ps I coukd get a mate to pop in for a return but hay ho guess I am just old and plastic
brisfox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Ronnie Todger, you might have been at Yeovil but I bet you weren't at Carlisle away. Buy a season ticket. Simples.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Ah but who was at the old poppies ground on fireworks night watching the stiffs ?
Bayfox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 I cant wait to discover about 66k have actually got tickets and theres 3 people in my seat. they will be moving.
ithuriel Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 At the Forest match one of our seats was double booked, can imagine what will happen XD
Lukey Boi Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Ah but who was at the old poppies ground on fireworks night watching the stiffs ? That's so narrow minded and I'm a ST myself.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 That's so narrow minded and I'm a ST myself. ? Pls explain
jammie82uk Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 At the Forest match one of our seats was double booked, can imagine what will happen XD As long as there ain't an executive box full of rowdy away fans behind me like at the forest game I'll be happy
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Ronnie Todger, you might have been at Yeovil but I bet you weren't at Carlisle away. Buy a season ticket. Simples. Its this attitude that fcuks me off with some STHs. I didn't go to Carlisle, nor the Derby nor fulham game. I've got a ticket for Man city. Deal with it.
Soar Fox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Ronnie Todger, you might have been at Yeovil but I bet you weren't at Carlisle away. Buy a season ticket. Simples. Neither were a lot of the season ticket holders considering we only took about 700.
sylofox Posted 22 November 2013 Posted 22 November 2013 Could we draw a line for all them that are not awear we have a bread and butter league game tomorrow. We could drop out of the top 2 ffs
RonnieTodger Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Ronnie Todger, you might have been at Yeovil but I bet you weren't at Carlisle away. Buy a season ticket. Simples. I've had one until this season. Not that that's relevant to the Carlisle game Besides, only about 550 Leicester fans were. Obviously only 550 fans warrant a ticket for the Man City tie.
foxgas Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Years ago when you paid cash at the turnstiles at Filbert street if you attended a cup or league game they gave you a voucher that you saved and traded in for tickets for later rounds of the cup. Those with the most vouchers got first crack at the tickets after STH's. The same system could be used if those with paper tickets saved their stubs and swapped them for tickets or is this too simplistic.
ozleicester Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 Just watching Man city tear Spurs apart.... wow, they are quick and quality. Its going to take one hell of an effort.
purpleronnie Posted 24 November 2013 Posted 24 November 2013 Just watching Man city tear Spurs apart.... wow, they are quick and quality. Its going to take one hell of an effort. Ahhh but they're away from home v us.

lcfcfoz Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 1 ticket for sale anyone? ive got 1 ticket for sale i meant to say.
1972 Fox Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 As long as there ain't an executive box full of rowdy away fans behind me like at the forest game I'll be happy Quite likely to happen again for a game like this. There will be Man City fans in the executive boxes on corporate invites. If they are celebrating or making a noise, some of our fans sitting in front of them will make a few idle threats but that will be all. Let's hope they have nothing to celebrate!

Might get Noel Gallagher and Kasabian in one of the boxes, they did it for the FA Cup game.
