This was the other day. Stated he gives possession away too much and he's not a player we need in the side to get promoted. Deleted both times.

I agree Jim, sloppy in possession has cost us 3 points tonight.

He's one of our only creative players. Also one of the only ones who can comfortably beat a man.

Will happily take his flaws to see those moments of magic that he does.

He was shit tonight to be fair.

But he's certainly someone we need in the side to get promoted, he can produce something incredible out of absolutely nothing. Can't think of anyone else in our squad who can do that.

I told you to fvck off the other day- purely on the grounds that you said he's not what we need.

He's exactly what we need, he's just got a lot to learn.

The new Championship promoted team trend is having a player who can just switch it on.

Taraabt, Llana, Zaha, Hoolahan, Frazier Campbell. Etc etc

Tonight he was poor, for all his tricks he can screw all his hard work up with a misplaced pass, but he has got natural ability and talent.

You're consistent i'll give you that. An absolute moron, but consistent.

If we don't go up, we'll lose him to a Premiership side. He's quality- so so skilful and willing.

He makes mistakes yes, but tonight was a miscontrol and giving away a stupid free kick. Not trying to beat the whole team as some have suggested.

I love him

Who would you put in his place, the rest of the midfield are very much alike, and wouldn't offer as much creativity.

The effort the lad puts in is good, and ok he over plays it sometimes, but he is one of a few that I would say has a bit of class in our side.

Completely agree...

Here's me being positive.... I think Knocky must get soooo frustrated by the lack of creativity around him. He's a little sea of excitement in an ocean of blandness.

I think he'd fly in a better team.. where the rest of em were on his wavelength. Some of the reason he keeps the ball so long is because theres no out-ball.. no run being made to deliver to.

His achilles heel is his lack of pace. If he was quick too, he'd be one helluva player.

People are saying knocky was poor n another thread drinky was poor

Totally disagree. .. you need to look at the lack of movement and help they get... if they were given options theyd have been great tonight.. they played well.. its the other players up top thst are making them look bad... bar dyer... he played well and as always fully committed

It's called creativity.

Wins us games, and also looses us them. But my god, I wish we had a team of Knockaerts.

Me too, we would still be sh&t at corners though..

He's French. That country breeds the word inconsistent. He can be magical, he can be naive which normally leads to him being rubbish but he's still an integral part of our squad.

He's decent on the ball simples, he cost us twice today and first reason being he tried too hard to get the ball back and made a silly challenge, the second was he should have kept the ball, turned and attacked the defence but instead he tried to lay it off to one of our own players but passed the ball behind him which they then got possession and scored from the following counter attack...

He still has a lot to learn and I hope he does it with us so we can hopefully reap the rewards from this talented player

I think he's been told to track back more this season which has led to far too many free kicks and yellow cards, its quite unbelievable that hes still tackling like that tonight after those 5 yellows, you thought someone might have had a word.

That said, hes our best player by a mile.

Hilarious to think that people can actually not rate him. He makes mistakes but for large periods of the game he looked the only player wearing blue that had any bit of quality about him.

Like I say, I really do fear that we'll learn the hard way just how good he is.
