My son who's been a regular attendee for 25 years and ST holder for 10 but not this season went last night his 3rd game of the season the others being Fulham and Blackburn all evening games.

He can't go regularly because of financial and family commitment so he has to choose carefully which games he can attend.

Why is it so illogical that he would choose to see us play Man City in the Quarter Finals of a cup rather than a game against Barnsley et al?

I'm sure there are 1000s of fans in a similar situation.

I remember this ws talked about before but Tonight I recon it was for real I was for the 1st and last time seated in J1 as my seat in L1 was given away to man city fans even when they sent L1 back mine was under the dividing covers so I had no choice . Well talk about shite half of them must have come to Watch Tigers the atmosphere was the worst I have ever experienced at a football match .Do us all a favour and stay at the rugby and if anyone ever offers you aticket in there say thanks but no thanks

Take a long walk off a short pier you numpty bleeder. No Tiger's fan would willingly come to the KP to watch our lot.

I am Tigers season ticket holder, and although I go to City games, wouldn't contemplate getting a season ticket to watch them. Chalk and cheese geezer, and twice as much atmosphere at Welford Road. so don't piss me off, with crappy garbage. .

L1 was the same mate if it was like that week in week out I wouldn't go. One guy had a man city top, one women was playing games, another was more interested in passing around sandwiches:.

Shocking to say the least I actually didn't enjoy it last night

Disgusting! Mind you, those sandwiches were good.  :xmaslaugh:

What pissed me off last night.

I was in H Block by the way(standing and trying to sing..).

Why the **** did some of our fans clap David Silva when we went off WHY? Some of these same 'fans' didn't clap Nugent when he went off? Have a word! We don't need supporters like this at all.

Don't you know that everyone loves Manchester City?

Atmosphere was pathetic last night. I was stuck in H and only me and my mate were starting chants and singing.

Groups and groups of kids around us, all willing to stand but none of them sing. This is what really does my head in, how hard is it to open your gob. Standing there like a lemon, giving it large but never sing? This is the problem.

I was also in H block but I was with my 16 year old brother. He likes to stand and he joins in with the chants but he doesn't start them because let's face it. If a teen started singing no one would join in. As for me I tend to just join in with chants unless I'm p!ssed then I'll try start some but that's mainly on away days.

My point was that hardly anybody was joining in with the chants either. The only chant anybody joins in with is 'We Love You'. It was atrocious. I'm never going to a game again where I'm not going to be in L1.

fair enough, me and my mate will probably be join either L or K next season anyway. So we have an excuse to drink and sing at home too

Man citys "we were here, when you were shit " chant made me chuckle.

The chant was ''we were here when WE were shit"

Which is a reference to the fact that they havent jumped on the Mansoor bandwagon and have been following Manchester City through thick and PLENTY of thin.

The arguments people throw out about part time fans, arm chair fans etc annoy the hell out of me!

Do people honestly think every Leicester City fan should have a sole focus on life that revolves around the football club and plan our lives around it. Not every supporter is a due hard, must go to see every single game fan. People have other commitments in life, work, family, finance. If you look at the way the club has panned out since our relegation from the Premier League why would the casual fan want to go to an away game in Barnsley on a Tuesday night, to watch a game that is horse, when they have to work the next day?

I gave up on my season ticket long ago and just pick and choose my games. Naturally a game with potentially higher quality personnel is more attractive than the potential of hoof football. I swapped my ticket for a nice subscription to Sky. I can now view more football and I feel I get better value for money. All down to personnel preference.

Performances and excitement generate an atmosphere. Not the personnel in attendance.

To be honest yeah. I understand that people can only attend a certain amount of games however if you do some what some fans did on Tuesday(clapping Man City players when they were going off) then please don't come again. They for me are plastics.

Oh **** the **** off.

Football fan snobbery is ridiculously embarrassing. Let people follow the football however they want and grow up.

For the record, I used my season ticket to buy a United fan I work with a ticket. Been trying to get him downthe KP for years. He only came because it was City and he took a seat that a "REAL FAN OMG WTF!!!!!" could have sat in.

Deal with it.

I would sooner sit on my own than bring a friend who has no interest in Leicester. If they asked me to get them a ticket just because of the opposition I would tell them to fvck off. If they manage to get one on general sale then fair enough

Really?

I don't see people as fans if they clap an opposition player and not our own. Deal with that, would rather the ground have 23,000 like the Burnley game than be full and have crumpets like that watch us.

Pretty much stopped reading there. You and I are massively different people.

My closest mates are all Leicester fans and I have a season ticket with some. However I do know some friends who support United, Liverpool ect but never go to games. If they wanted me to get them a ticket just for one game because we're playing a big team? No chance

Ashley is right, If you're sitting in the Leicester end. You want them to be a Leicester fan.

Is there anything wrong with clapping an opposition player, especially a player of Silva's quality?

I'll admit I've clapped an opposition player before, I mean great players here, but I wouldn't say I'm less of a fan. There's a different between following football and following a football team. As a Leicester fan I want us to win every game, but I am also a football fan and admire the great players. Sometimes you have to just sit back and respect the quality of a player regardless of who he plays for.

Not in the slightest, to be honest. It's called sportsmanship.

Granted, whilst I really like David Silva, I don't personally feel he was good enough to get applause from both sets of fans but it's not like the Walkers stood up and gave him a standing ovation. If one or two people want to applaud him that's really their business.

We shouldn't be clapping immigrants, taking our jobs and shipping shit loads of money back home.

Silva was very much unnoticed the other night, in fact I was slightly disappointed in a sense, on the other hand I thought Milner was a lot better for them and would've warranted a standing ovation

I remember a cup-tie against non-league Leatherhead (early 70s?) where at full-time the entire Kop chanted 'Leatherhead' non-stop until they had left the pitch.

Sometimes, just sometimes, it's the right thing to do.
