KIRBYFOX93 Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Why does he not make sub appearances ahead of Hammond...??? Or any other sub to mind??? Shagged Pearsons daughter?
Harry - LCFC Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Hammond brought on to hold a lead. Didn't need another goal and looked threatening anyway.
KIRBYFOX93 Posted 26 December 2013 Author Posted 26 December 2013 Hes still better than waghorn regardless of hammond?
Grewks Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Coincidence that our midfield looks so dominant without the invisible man? No.
Bayfox Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Coincidence that our midfield looks so dominant without the invisible man? No. no our midfield looks better with james.Coincidence king and dd look better with james????
GingerrrFox Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 James and Drinkwater are our best combination. End of.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 King knows the score, respect him for it,
Bert Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Hammond is better at keeping things tight than King, which was what we needed today.
Vardinhio Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 King is a very different option to Hammond and is still a key part of our squad. But yes I think he must have shagged Pearson's daughter.
Haydos Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 I'm not sure you understand football very well if you don't see why he wasn't brought on today.
Stadt Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 I'm not sure you understand football very well if you don't see why he wasn't brought on today. You don't understand football if you don't agree with me.That's basically what half of this forum thinks.
foxfanazer Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Got great options in midfield now. King seems to have a good attitude though so shouldn't be any unrest. Any combination is good but I'd say DD and James is our best
Captain... Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 As for King, he will get his chance again, he's been out the side before and always played his way back in. To be honest I wasn't that impressed with James today, he was ok, but Drinky was boss he was running the show in midfield.
XLM Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Fact is when our current two CM's are performing as well as they are why change them? More to the point, Hammond and King are very different players - King won't sit and hold, while Hammond does that job. King's been out the team before and if anything this might bring back the player that managed to grab us a good few goals over seasons gone..

Stadt Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 James is a lot physically stronger than King, and because of that he actually manages to move forwards with the ball.

IMO kingy is quite positive with the ball. If i was nige, i would play james in tough battles like today, and play kingy when a team like yeovil or doncaster come and park the bus-he knows where the goal is.
Haydos Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 You don't understand football if you don't agree with me. That's basically what half of this forum thinks. It's not about agreeing though. It's not like bringing king on would have been objectively a better option. Hammond is a more defensive player, how is it difficult to understand why he was brought on?

Hammond is a more defensive player, how is it difficult to understand why he was brought on? Exactly. We needed to see a game out, so we brought on a defensive player to help us do that. What would be the point in bringing a more attacking player on, who isn't great defensively to help the team not concede a goal? Hammond was the much better option today in those circumstances.
Ric Flair Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Anyone who thinks King hasn't got a part to play anymore can piss in their own gob
Bayfox Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Anyone who thinks King hasn't got a part to play anymore can piss in their own gob no I think thats a short bloke with a long cock.
GingerrrFox Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Anyone who thinks King hasn't got a part to play anymore can piss in their own gob You clearly like overrated players then.
foxfanazer Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 You clearly like overrated players then.Who over rates him?
cc_star Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 Don't think we'd bring Hammond on to chase the game, it's always to help keep tight... And for now Drinky+King is best pairing.
Corky Posted 26 December 2013 Posted 26 December 2013 You clearly like overrated players then. Might not be as good as some make out but he will have something to offer, Drinkwater and James won't be playing superbly every week and King will be required at some point.
