Tuna Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 http://nonleague.pitchero.com/news/ex-cobblers-defender-joins-harrogate-27883/ Surely he is better than this.
StanSP Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 32?!?! In that picture on the link he looks about 52.
Guest shearfox Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 32?!?! In that picture on the link he looks about 52. Exactly , the picture alone tells you why he has sunk so low...
Bert Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 He's a proper bellend, by all accounts. Got beat in the air by Vardy every single time pre-season.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Always rated him back in the day. Must have some sort of problems nowadays.
Banks Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 He's a proper bellend, by all accounts. Got beat in the air by Vardy every single time pre-season. How was he a bellend?
Out Foxed Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 How was he a bellend? i've met him out a few times. seemed a bit of a div.
Bert Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 How was he a bellend? From what other people who know him (the by all accounts bit) have said.
ousefox Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Christ - even I've played 90 mins at their ground!
Guest shearfox Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 From what other people who know him (the by all accounts bit) have said. Disappointing, because he actually was a very good defender... seems like he was more interested in other things rather than progressing his career...
BHAFC Braders Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 He really isn't It was difficult to be one of the worst players of the Micky Adams/Russell Slade era for us , but he managed it by a country mile.
Fox92 Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 His own goal against Ipswich (was it 2-2?) was one of the best own goals I've seen. Still sure he was paid to score that goal.
ithuriel Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 When he first broke through he had potential but never realised it and soon vanished into obscurity. Barely remember him to be honest.
Ross-Kemp Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 If he focused as much on his football career as much as he did getting pissed up, he wouldn't have been a bad centre half.
Durnerz Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 He wasn't a centre half blessed with pace, surprised he stayed at a high level for so long
Bayfox Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 For all those having ago. can I set the record straight. He actually met and is now married to a lass he met when at leeds. they own a house in york so when he left col utd they decided to move back there. As she is Studying to become a vet at york uni I think. he was hopeful he may get a contract up that way. But the only 2 firm offers he got were from clubs in and around london. the only reason he went to northampton was boothroyd rang him at short notice and asked him to come for a trail against us. he may not seem the brightest but he's actually been doing his coaching badges for the last year or 2 whilst in essex. however I will say to him football was a job/living he doesnt care for stats, who he played, scored against etc. he is currently studying to become a primary school teacher with the aim.of teaching pe. and for those suggesting he looks like he's been on the beer, he doesn't drink. for the record his wife is stunning, the thought of her with her hand up a cows arse made us chuckle when we met her. he wanted to be close to home but knows he hasn't got long left in the game so I guess this suits both parties.

He ****ing did drink, he turned up one Saturday morning for leicester still spannered from the night before.

notnow john Posted 4 January 2014 Posted 4 January 2014 It does sadden me that " supporters" queue up to slag off a local lad with unsubstantiated rumours. I've never met him but I know that him and his family are life long city fans. O.k he never fulfilled his potential but is that a reason for a thread lambasting him? Maybe next time Liam Moore hears "one of our own" he'll realise how vacuous it really is.
Ric Flair Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 My mate went Zante with him back in 2004, the boy can drink.
Bert Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 I'm sure he's been with his missus since he was with us as well.
