harpendenfox Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 The next three games are huge (aren't they all), but neither QPR or Burnley play on Sat, so we have a chance to put points on the board before them. They also play each other in three games time, so points are going to be dropped by someone in that game. Boro, Brum and Bournemouth in a week. Meanwhile one of QPR and Burnley, possibly both, will get a maximum of 4 points in that week. I know we won't win every game, but it's hard not to dream a little
Kitchandro Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Do you not mean that the other way around? No I know what he means. From a neutral point of view we're the best team in the league and we're at home, the obvious result is a home win. That's the head talking. Weirdly though, we seem more wary now we're doing really well. Something in our water is telling us that 'the streak must end'. Hence, heart says it will, head deduces we should win.
Guest Bilo Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 I think a draw is on the cards. I hope I'm wrong mind, I was convinced we'd lose at Leeds.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/news-display/Transfer-Rumour-Rhys-Williams-heading-to-EPL/83618 This would be great if it happened sooner or later, I would love him to miss our game and i would love to see him in the Prem.
MANFACE Posted 19 January 2014 Posted 19 January 2014 Boro match will be tuff. I think we are playing well enough to get a win.
FoxInTheBox89 Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Every run comes to an end but I think it will be Boros run that will be ending. Only just squeezed past Charlton 1-0 so I see City 2-0 win.
Number 6 Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Didn't realise about the absence of games for our nearest rivals. Gives us another fantastic opportunity.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Come on Leicester!!! I'm starting the build up now . .
Thracian Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 If you're going to win things you have to face the best teams and records are there to be broken. It's all about us, our attitude and our concentration. Derby were in pretty good form when they came here. And we're got plenty of room for improvement after Leeds starting with trying to pass the ball quickly and accurately which we seem to do much better here than anywhere else for whatever reason.

The surface at the KP is the reason we can pass the ball with speed and confidence. Best pitch in the league.
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Not lost to 'Boro in our last eleven against them - a Frank Sinclair own goal saw their last win over us in the disastrous 2001-2002 season. They've won five in six and look revitalized under Karanka. As much as I love this Forum when its a positive place this is our hardest test since QPR away and we rode our luck a bit against Leeds. Can see the run ending here. ...plus, as much as I hate to dampen people's enthusiasm - remember QPR were as far ahead as we are now at one point. It's not a huge gap.
phillo Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 we dont seem to lose to form teams its out of form we struggle against
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I was talking to a boro ST and he thinks they can catch us on the break with their wing backs, oh boy this could get ugly
Beliall Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 look for a reaction to leeds, we're at home, could be 5-1. we havent really hammered anyone yet this season.
NewburyFox Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I was talking to a boro ST and he thinks they can catch us on the break with their wing backs, oh boy this could get ugly They don't play wing backs. In fact, their LB Friend has recently been told not to attack as much, probably contributing to their recent run of clean sheets. 4-2-3-1 formation expected.
Finnaldo Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Dream debut for Mahrez and a 3-1 win to us. Mahrez scored in the under 21s game that's on at the minute.
ealingfox Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 1st v 2nd in the form table, something's gotta give: WWWWWW WWWDWW Think we'll see the return of our favourite scoreline. Vardy and Knockaert to bag.

Vardy and Knockaert to bag. Agree with the scoreline. I'm going Boro to score first early on, then a Knockaert goal in the 20th minute, and finally capped off with a Phillips goal 89" to seal the win.
One Legged Beaver Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 If Mowbray was still manager I'd be very confident of this match but the new guy has really Karankad them up a notch since being appointed.
