I had sweaty palms and a lump in my chest within about 30 seconds of watching it, I followed the James Kingston on twitter about 6 months ago when someone retweeted his video that went viral, He gained about 5,000 followers last night on the back of this programme, He's an absolute nutcase..... He climbs things, Like cranes... then hangs off them, Last night he went to Ukraine to meet another "climber" After about 3 hours of getting to know this guy, The Ukranian guy decided to tell James Kingston "I want you to hang me off of moscow bridge holding just my hand" to which the James did!!! James then proceeded, to do a backflip on the top of moscow bridge. The documentary was VERY irresponsible, promoting easily driven kids to follow suit, but by christ it was interesting, I'm not sure how he climbs these buildings with those bollocks in the way.. Soar Fox Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 A bit selfish of him I personally think. How worried must his parents be every time he leaves the house. I imagine his mum will be planning a funeral for him within the next couple of years of he carries on.

Completely agree, I respect his self confidence, and his bottle. and that only, I wouldnt be surprised if we see in the next few months that a young lad has died attempting it, But then again it's not so much james' fault... Agree on the mother thing, When questioned he said he does feel bad for his mother, but he wont stop, and she worries like mad it's evident, but I think she does seem to understand why he does it, Asking to see photos of it all... I would be very surprised if he does not unfortunately die in the next few years.... It only takes 1 big gust of wind when 300m up, and its a fast track down.... When he is hangings it's all about grip, however from the period of hanging, to pulling yourself back up to try to get ontop of the bars again, a force of wind would easily throw balance away... Very very dangerous, I hope he gets his kicks then "retires" but people who crave that excitement normally carry on until something bad happens, I.e The crocodile bloke.. He was always going to die doing that shit

You wouldn't catch me up a double ladder, let alone a bloody crane or The Moscow Bridge in the Ukraine. Agree that he is totally selfish. If he died, all his mum would see for the rest of her life is her son falling off a building etc. I wouldn't wish him ill like others on his Facebook or Twitter have. The thing is, he's at a 100% success rate...at the minute. You can't go on your whole life with that record. The sad thing is, because of the stupid heights he does this, that 1% where he slips will kill him.

If this guy wants kicks...he should try being a ranger scaffolder on skyscrapers, maintenance rigger on oil platforms, Mine detector in Egypt, Vietnam, or even Afgahnistan.Then he could join mountain rescue, and go on earthquake support in mountain regions, road repair on the karakorum and Himalyan highways.That would get his adrenalin running, help to pay for his mothers near on nervous-breakdowns to boot. Jack-asses are 10 a penny.!!!

That video of Mustang has we lowering my seat at work a bit.

StanSP Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I think parkour is better! Fair play to these guys though. Incredible amount of guts and bravery and massive balls of steel! I think I have courage in other aspects of my life but these guys' courage is on another level. (no pun intended).
