Socks Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I hate it when someones loses and blames it on something else apart from themselves A prime example was Serena Williams losing to Ana Ivanovic in the Melbourne Open last night "I've got a bad back so I lost" Just admit you got beat by the better player on the night! Hate it.... Anyone else got any sore losers ????? ^^^ Ana Ivanovic

ADK Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Me. I hate getting beaten. I think I hate bad winners more than bad losers. I can relate to a bad loser, it sucks to be beaten and the natural instinct is to rationalise it by making an excuse. People that make a massive deal out of winning something especially when they were lucky anyway is more annoying. Billy Davies is a master at this.
Strokes Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I never lose, some may claim victory but i wont have been trying.
Vacamion Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 A sore loser isn't the same as a loser with a poor excuse.
The Blur Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 After yesterday, there was a guy on my facebook threatening to delete any of his friends who dared to wind him up about Man Utd's defeat yesterday. Mardy as ****.
Socks Posted 20 January 2014 Author Posted 20 January 2014 After yesterday, there was a guy on my facebook threatening to delete any of his friends who dared to wind him up about Man Utd's defeat yesterday. Mardy as ****. That is gripey.... But at least they didn't resort to cheating like Liverpool !

The Blur Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Whos dat ? Ian Stringer, our radio commentator for Leicester City matches. I hope you took the opportunity? I thought about it but my girlfriend is mates with his girlfriend so I don't want to cause any fuss.
Fox92 Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I hate getting beat, I admit it. But there is a difference between sore losers and poor excuses. When I compete in anything, I want to win. I hate it when people say "oh he's taking it seriously" (whether it's aimed at me or someone else). You don't take part to lose do you! But I'll admit if I/we deserved to lose, whether that's me playing football or having watched Leicester... There is a difference between that and then coming out and saying "well my finger hurts so I wasn't playing at my best" sort of thing.
fuchsntf Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 ......... Sorry could you repeat the question please Brilliant retour.... .
ScouseFox Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 I'm pretty competitive but only against mates and that. If I lost a game of footy against a team in a cup competition with XI men I've never heard of and will never see again I probably wouldn't care once it's done. If my team lost against a team of people we know and don't get on with it would probably end up in a fight.
Socks Posted 20 January 2014 Author Posted 20 January 2014 Ian Stringer, our radio commentator for Leicester City matches. I always thought he was an old dude....
Darkon84 Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Poor winners are probably worse to be honest. Just take a look at all the Liverpool fans crawling out of the woodwork to claim the glory days are back, and have a dig at United.
Beliall Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 poor winners make a bad loser. cries of "you suck " etc do nothing to improve mymood, if i win a game of something, i wont rub it in your face.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 If I'm competing against mates and I win I'm the worst winner ever and will rub it in big time. In a competition against others, whilst I'm very competitive I'm also more respectfull and will always shake my competitors hand (unles they've cheated in which case i'll ignore and appeal through officials). That said, on Saturday we watched the Leeds game in my mates house, 4 city fans and 1 Leeds scummer. When Nuge poked that ball in, I celebrated in the inbreeds face like there was no tomorrow. Life was sweet for a few hours.
Parafox Posted 20 January 2014 Posted 20 January 2014 Ian Stringer, our radio commentator for Leicester City matches. Bloody Hell, isn't it enought to sound like a tosser? I'm not a bad loser but I can get very competitive and can be a bit derogatory or even abusive to my opponents. (I play 5 a side.. I'm 57 y'know, I'm entitled to be cantankerous)
