I think it must have been 5 or 6 years ago, I was actually able to make a match for once in Reading away only to have the bloody thing abandoned at half time lol  Think we were losing 1-0 at the time, but it might have been 1-0 to us instead, I'm a bit hazy on it.

Man City away at Maine Rd, mark Robbins debut and he scored the only goal!

I can't remember why year but I got a t shirt 'I made a splash with Mark Robbins'

It was horrendous, a puddle in the line stopped a goal if I remember correctly.

Brilliant day out though

I want that meself,thought it was 0-0?

Whole area outside stadium was flooded,

Won the rearranged game 3-1.

Remember going Eward park in late 90,

Weather was torrential and Chris Sutton got a hatrick and we was 5-0 down,

Restored some pride to lose 5-3.

notts county in the zds cup back in the 90's. I don't think I've ever been as drenched, and stood ankle deep in water.

God yeah it was torrential, but what a great turn out and atmosphere by the City fans.

Notts county away in the ZDS and Portsmouth away are the 2 I remember.

Wore only a beanie hat and t-shirt that night in the cup, big mistake. Bought a drink to warm me up before the game an ended up wearing it when a stray shot in the warm up hit me. Was a fantastic trip out though, the game, the result, and the fans that night were brilliant.

Doing the conga behind the goal at Pompey in the pouring rain, some lads nicking the black bin bags to hold over the heads. Still amazes me that game wasn't called off.

You're probably right I was too disappointed/angry/frustrated at the time to really make note of the finer details. lol

Forgot about the Blackburn game, but yeah, probably that.

For those that haven't seen it:

I think the cameras make it look better than it was.

From Pen 2 you couldn't see the Family Stand, let alone the goal posts.  We genuinely had no idea what was happening at the other end of the pitch!!

It was New Years day. A few of my mates went, they couldn't talk me into it knowing what state I would be in. I was still in bed listening to it when it got called off. On the plus side I went to the rearranged fixture on a mild evening and watched a fine victory. Oh and the tickets were cheap because the original game had been cancelled.

Try all the way to plymouth to be 1 down called off at ht.

still lost 1 ****ing nil.

ok I cheated and stayed in torquay so didnt have the 7 hour coach journey some did but still took nearly 2 hrs to get back for a journey that normally takes 45mins tops.

Went out for a walk at 3am to take in one of the most spectacular storms I have ever witnessed in the UK  , hundreds of lightening strikes and warm torrential rain that I have only experienced in the tropics !

Was a wild night on rural leics
