And Adidas continue to monopolise all things red and white stripey...

Sheffield United set to sign new kit deal with adidas

It has been reported League One outfit Sheffield United are shortly to announce a new kit deal with adidas replacing their current deal with Macron.

The deal with adidas will see the German brand provide training and leisure wear products as well as playing kits. The new deal is set to start as of next season (2014-15 season) after a five year stint with Italian brand Macron.

We could expect something similar to the current Sunderland home shirt for Sheffield United next season. Currently just below the play-off spot in League One it is likely that the Blades will wear their new adidas kits for another season in the third tier of English football.

That is a corker. Similar to when they had Claridge playing for them.

I'd love to see that on a male model and with different lighting. From that one picture, it has potential to be a grower.

What are the odds on Leicester's kits looking just like that but an all blue shirt, with the side stripes in gold?

Can definitely see this being the template we have next season as well as maybe about 20 other sides!

The design would be shite if it wasn't for the sleeves, which take the attention, I wouldn't mind white sleeves for a change, but I can't see it.
