elangLCFC Posted 8 February 2014 Author Posted 8 February 2014 Thanks, just wanted to see Drinky's again as in N1 there wasn't a great view, what a hit it was
Super_horns Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Good goals there - nothing much the defence/goalie could do.
Bert Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I think Kasper should be doing better with the first. It wasn't a bad strike but it wasn't really ferociously hit and came a long way. You could tell Murray was shaping up to shoot as well.

I'd fancy myself to save that tbh... as you said Murray shaped up to hit it there, wasn't right in the corner, not the hardest strike. Should be stopping them.

Beliall Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 happened quickly, but their first looked onside to me

The Year Of The Fox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 That's a magnificent strike. Take a bow Danny boy
Grewks Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Just proves the moronic stick our fans gave the linesman was undeserved. I said at the time that he got all the decisions right (apart from the goal as it was too quick for anyone to see at the game). And what do you know....forrestieri was ONSIDE.
Larry_LCFC Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Added a better version at the top with manager interviews.

Larry_LCFC Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Actually thought Kasper had a poor game today, his decision making was dreadful at times He almost cost us a goal when he did his best superman impression and completely missed the ball. He does seem rather hot-headed at times. Still think he is one of the best championship keepers though.
Larry_LCFC Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Still think it looks offside Tbf, it looks like Wasyl is just playing him onside. Close call though
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Just proves the moronic stick our fans gave the linesman was undeserved. I said at the time that he got all the decisions right (apart from the goal as it was too quick for anyone to see at the game). And what do you know....forrestieri was ONSIDE. It wasn't just that decision though. From where I was sitting he appeared to get quite a few decisions wrong aside from the goal
MGLCFC Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Tbf, it looks like Wasyl is just playing him onside. Close call though Agree it's close, but still feel just offside - but will admit it's not obvious, like it seemed in real time
Guest kristianity77 Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I think their first goal is probably onside. Very tight however. Not sure we should be complaining given the 50/50s we've had go for us in the past 2 games before it.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 Nowhere near as offside as it looked in real-time. Looks like as the ball leaves his boot Wasyl's back leg is just playing him on. Very difficult to tell for sure.
Jimothy Posted 8 February 2014 Posted 8 February 2014 I think Kasper should be doing better with the first. It wasn't a bad strike but it wasn't really ferociously hit and came a long way. You could tell Murray was shaping up to shoot as well. Murray scored the second. If Kasper had saved the first, the deflected shot of Forrestieri he might as well throw his gloves off and walk off the pitch, because he's never going to better that save in whole career.

Very difficult to tell for sure. But it's not the leg that decides whether a player is offside. It's the upper body.
