Home record since move to stadium in 2002

On the subject of new stadiums... Is it me or do clubs seem to always do well in them. Look at Juventus and Bilbaos home records since getting a new stadium. Also Brighton always seem to do well at home nowadays!

On the other hand Arsenal haven't won anything since they left Highbury...

68 lost? It feels like I personally witnessed more than that from 2003-2008.

I was thinking that.

The 2003 - 2008 period was depressing, and sometimes I can't believe it was only five years because it seemed like it was longer.

Agree with both of you.

For some reason I thought we would of drawn more games.

Every competitive home game played at home since move to new ground - 294 games played.

138 won

88 drawn

68 lost

Not bad a record at all that! Not far off 50% win record at home.

I thought our record would be worse as between our 1 season in the top flight and finally ending up in L1 it feels like we lost most weeks for about 5 years.

But I suppose we have had 2 promotions and 2 play-off seasons, plus this year, so I suppose it's about 50/50 when you think of ups and downs.

You could argue that because teams, by and large, tend to think about a new stadium when they're doing well and need to increase capacity that you'd expect them to do better when moving to a new stadium.

surprised it's that good, i always thought we'd been weak at home since leaving filbo. NPs two reigns go a lot towards this record I would say, take him out and its probably quite poor

I'd love to know what Pearson's home record is here. I bet he's only lost about 10 in the league.

Pearsons Home records:

08/09 - 13 9 1

09/10 - 13 6 4

11/12 - 7 6 2

12/13 - 13 4 6

13/14 - 11 3 1

Overall: Played 99 wins 57 draws 28 losses 14 = 57.5% win ratio.

But for a slightly sticky spell at the end of last season at home with losses vs Charlton and Shef Wed particuly stick in mind. hes been very impressive.

Only a early blip to Millwall in league 1, 09/10 consistent the way through well over achieved.

took over a rubbish sven team with 4 home losses already in the first 9 games and only went on to lose 2 more all season(1 was West ham when we had nothing to play for and West ham were going for the autos, the other being mainly because of our mr consistent Drinky vs Barnsley).

12/13 started like a house on fire before having a few losses.

This season near unbeatable, only Forest where we should of won before that, although could of lost to Watford but kept our losses down to 1.

Other than Pearson and 1 great season under Adams with just 2 home defeats, the rest would be woeful!

Ipswich is Pearson's 100th home game then? Would be nice to show some appreciation if possible.

A minutes applause in the 100th minute? lol

Everyone stands up and peels their foreskin back for 100 minutes, a minute for every home game. Les make this happen

It's worrying we seem to get stuck on 13! I hope Nigel isn't superstitious.
