Finnegan Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Pretty awful for Southgate to be struggling to put our lot away. You look at your embarrassment of riches in that side and even I can't tell you who half of our lot are. Should be about 10 - 0.
NewburyFox Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Moore hasn't stated since Middlesbrough. Not sure why people are getting pissy about it. Because he's clearly fit (if not match fit) and a CM who's nothing special is starting at CB ahead of him. Hardly rocket science.
Finnegan Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Kingy set Bale up for Wales' third Let's be honest, mate, that's pretty much a solo goal. That's a bit like giving an assist to whoever gave the ball to Maradona for his dribble against England. That said, King has looked solid, fit, comfortable and sound tonight. Reasonable 7/10 performance.

Poiseuille Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 No mention here at all that Marko Futacs got around 30 minutes for Hungary?
morris1234 Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 2 for Wood and one was a great finish from a very tight angle!
Guest ttfn Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 It's good that we don't have a game until Tuesday - gives Morgan and Wood plenty of recovery time and also means that we get virtually a whole week's preparation.
Out Foxed Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 No mention here at all that Marko Futacs got around 30 minutes for Hungary? urgh can't believe he still has another year to run on his contract

surrifox Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Sam Vokes and Andy KingImage by: PA Photos A total of seven Foxes are set for international action with their respective nations this week as Sky Bet Championship football takes a backseat. Liam Moore kicks the action off on Wednesday evening when he makes the short trip to Derby County’s iPro Stadium with Gareth Southgate’s England Under-21s side. The Young Lions tackle Wales in a qualifying match for the UEFA Euro Championships, and Moore will be hoping to add a second cap to the one he won against Northern Ireland in 2012. Another player hoping to make an impression is City ‘keeper Kasper Schmeichel, who will travel to Wembley Stadium with his Denmark side on Wednesday for an exciting friendly fixture against England. The Danes beat Malta 6-0 in their last outing, but missed out on a spot in the summer’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil, so will be looking to build towards the European Championships in two year’s time. Elsewhere City midfielder Andy King will hoping to line up for Wales in Cardiff as they lock horns with Iceland on Wednesday night. The Academy Graduate has racked up 25 international caps since his debut in 2009, and like the Danes, are beginning their preparations for a Euro 2016 qualifying campaign. Skipper Wes Morgan will again be linking up with Jamaica during this latest round of international fixtures for a friendly with Grenada in Barbados, also on Wednesday. The 30-year-old made his international debut last year against Panama and after being included in the 22-man squad for the match, could now add to his two caps. There will be a long trip in store for Chris Wood as well when he links up with his New Zealand team-mates in Tokyo for a friendly. The All Whites take on Japan as they look to put behind them the disappointment of defeat to Mexico in the intercontinental play-offs for the FIFA World Cup back in November last year. Under-18s striker Simonas Stankevicius has also been handed a call-up to the senior Lithuania side for the second time as they prepare for a friendly against Kazakhstan in Turkey. The youngster made his debut for his national side last year, and after some promising form for City’s youth team, will be keen to add to the cap he won against Moldova. Finally, Development Squad attacker Joe Dodoo is on standby for England Under-19s duty against Turkey on Wednesday. The match takes place in Chester and is preparation for the upcoming elite round of qualifying for the European Under-19s Championships. LCFC1996 Posted 6 March 2014 Posted 6 March 2014 Stankevicius certainly seems an exciting prospect, 17 years old and already made 2 full international appearances for Lithuania.
