Didnt see any forum on this so I though i'd start one

Kicks off on sunday with hosts Bangladesh playing Afghanistan. England's first game is next Saturday against New Zealand. Dont fancy our chances to do well especially considering it being in sub-continent conditions but you never know :fc:

Personally think India will win it

Not backing us either, but it's a bit of a lottery and we do have players who are more than capable of producing match-winning performances.

Would love to see West Indies do well again, but then I always want them to do well in any format.

Same here, something romantic/nostalgic about West Indies cricket. Laid back, carefree, non elitist all to the soundtrack of 'I don't like Cricket'...

Chris Gayle is a beast with the bat too.

Hoping for Ireland to qualify for the Super 10 and maybe producing a shock win or two along the way...

Tipping Sri Lanka. They have Chucker Malinga who's an excellent death bowler, and more importantly they've just toured Bangla so they've got good knowledge of the pitches and conditions already. Though to be honest 20/20 Internationals always tend to be something of a crap shoot that comes down to whoever has the better day at the office.

Competition will be garbage until the weekend, and by the looks of it I'll miss most of the games this weekend as well, I'm not getting up a 930 to watch it on Saturday.

I like this format, gives the minnows a chance to play competitive cricket and get some real practice in before facing the top teams.

You have to put up with a pointless week of cricket though, if their going to do it like this they may as well set up a qualification stage instead.

Backing Sri Lanka as well, team looks perfectly balanced in conditions that should suit.

We are awful. How have we gone from World Cup winners to having this side in a couple of years?

There are ridiculous amounts of stats on everything... there's such a thing as being over-analytical.

Delicious pun

One of the biggest shocks ever on the cards here.

Stuck it on to watch the Saffers slog the Dutch around as my backdrop to work, been engrossed all morning (sorry boss) come on the Dutch, wicket in the first over set the tone. SA have been poor, but credit to the Dutch, I'm wearing my orange clog slippers in support.

Been a bit of a bottle job here, they need to realise they have 20 overs to get this, see off Tahir and Steyn rather than trying to slog them out the park.
