AKCJ Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 The subs have done less than those they replaced. A rare but poor night from Nige.
iancognito Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 In much the same way as Burnley bemoaned losing Ings, Vokes, Trippier and Marney this is the same sort of second half performance from a team missing Vardy, Nugent, James and Drinkwater. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see a miracle ending this week.....
GingerrrFox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Funny how the team capitulates when you take out James and Drinkwater. Apart from those 2 and Wood this was our starting side a few months ago. Proves to me Hammond and King aren't up to the standard we are now setting ourselves.
Socks Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 If we do lose you forget to mention all teams on 39/46 played. Its amazing how some city fans panic. We could of lost this with, same team against Burnley i was being sarcastic
Unabomber Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I'll go first, no matter what the result tonight, NP has let the fans down BADLY tonight. We are better than this, but you cant make 6 changes you idiot. And before anyone starts, I praise NP all season, but tonight he has let me down. In bunker now, tin helmet on. Oh, and before anyone says, young fit professional footballers can surely manage 6 hours football in 10 days - surely? Did you call him an idiot when we won at Millwall?

Simmo86 Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Only one thing left to say.....Pearson out. Squad rotating willy puller!!
step Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Players have a hard couple of weeks, I just hope they are up to it
Swalker Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 When there's super kev knocking around anything can happen
cjones Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 GTF done nothing. KP not had a touch Mahrez has been ok but not added anything that Knocky wasn't Subs today haven't got involved but we could still nick a draw! All Super Kev needs is a sniff, give him that and we'll get a point nobodys been involved but obviously you will start looking for a scapegoat from the subs, wigan on there day are one of best teams in championship since rosler took over , they can beat anybody ask man city

Oh, and before anyone says, young fit professional footballers can surely manage 6 hours football in 10 days - surely? Not really given they've played pretty much every game of the 19 games unbeaten run. Players cannot keep playing full intensity for as many games in quick succession. It takes 48 hours to properly recover, and even longer if the games are coming thick and fast.
SlaneyLCFC Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Not the end of the world. Still 6 points clear at the top.
AKCJ Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I don't know why we've got Kev playing so deep. He needs to be on the last man.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Lesson learned, never change a winning team... Pearson Out!
fuchsntf Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I'm afraid some of these players who have come in are not good enough for the next level, suppose it's good that we know in advance though. Total crap. Wigan happen to be a top team, who have qualified to play Arsenal, by beating MC. This one game makes you an expert...
kingfox Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I think this game would of been tough, even if we played Wasilewski, Drinkwater & James. Wigan are the best side in this division along with us.
Swalker Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 We still have the potential. KP, Dyer, Mahrez, King and Kasper can all grab a goal from nothing
