10 years of the championship only visiting the top grounds in the country during cup rounds, but now were back with the big boys so who do you fancy taking on first game of the season a big home tie against Chelsea or away at the bridge or do we go for a less of an impact game of which we probably have the chance of winning !!

Not saying that we couldn't beat Chelsea but we would give them a good run for their money ??

Really looking forward to the new season it can't come quick enough !!

COME ON YOU PREMIER FOXES !!

Burnley at home. No Prem game will be easy but this should be easier than against an established Prem club, and we'd like the best chance of getting off to a positive start.

Not really bothered who we get because we have to play every team at some time in the season, great to get a few points on the board early in the season, 40 points is the objective for me... Anyway we need to take a leaf out of Boca Juniors' book for next season and maybe against Doncaster before games.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpAPmzVhmeE (4.40 mins and onwards)

I'd like an established PL team at home who aren't unbeatable, like Newcastle/Soton. Losing to them wouldn't be a disaster, lose at home to Burnley or Crystal Palace and imagine the reaction on here?

I've always imagined it would be Liverpool at home for some reason. We're 3-0 down at half time but we come back to make it 3-3.

I'd like a home game to start us off, just for the atmosphere and expectation on the first day.

Southampton @ KP

That was the last opening day premier fixture at Leicester, 2-0 up against Southampton finished 2-2 with Kevin Phillips scoring. Giving away a lead was a common theme from that season!

I'd like Aston Villa or West Brom at home providing they stay up, both teams we have a realistic chance of beating.

I'd like to avoid the smaller teams because we'd be under a lot of pressure to get a result.

If we lost at home to Burnley on the first day of the season it wouldn't set us up very well. If, on the other hand, we got thrashed 5-0 by Liverpool at Anfield, that would be easier to get over because we wouldn't be 'expected' to get anything.

The media can have a massive impact on our success next year. Losing 0-1 at home to Burnley after a freak own goal is 10x worse than a 5nil thrashing from a top club.

I'd like to become slightly more established in the Prem before we face a team that we 'should' beat. I know it's an odd way of looking at things but on the first day of the season, nerves will be high and teams will not want to lose. We could play Burnley, etc... and get defeated and we'd spend the rest of the season moaning about how we lost an 'easy three points.'

Need to settle in first!

Home against a beatable team that are still fairly big i.e. Newcastle, West Ham, Aston Villa.

I bet it's Stoke away though.

West Ham (away)............based on Cardiff's first fixture this season (Hull away at Chelsea; Palace at home to Spurs)

I think it best to get a hard game done and out the way first. man city, chelsea, arsenal or liverpool away for me. start the season off with a bang.
