That wasn't the point I was making. If Knocky (indeed any player) falls foul of not making the step up, you watch the sea-change that comes thereafter.

At this present time if you're wanting people to agree with you after the season we've had you're on a hiding to nothing.

Don't care tbh.

I have an opinion, I can put it across if I want. You've done it enough times, and like me I've seen many people disagreeing with you also.

That's part and parcel of the forum, and that's why I love it.

lol what are you on about

Whether you disagree or not, you've got a laugh out of it.

That's what I do best.

I think to those who take such misery from our performances either need to go seek psychiatric help or top themselves, whichever they find more convenient.

He has already started to struggle.

I actually agree with you about him being better last season, in the sense that I enjoyed watching him more last season, but there's no doubt he's contributed more to the way the team has played this season.

To say "he's already started to struggle" is odd though. Have we been carrying him the whole season then? Carrying him all the way to 100 points?

Taking a bite from the same apple , you all know the apple I mean , the rotten one from the barrel, the one only looking to finding fault, no matter what positive atmosphere there is around the apple believes its job is to breed discontent .

So I will join in...City were Lucky, lets look how many first team players, have gone through the mill from so called fans, who post and start negative threads, stating the player for not being good enough, not ..."oh he had a bad game today",

But..hes crap, he is sh^t, he is not good enough for Leicester.....Pearson cant see, he cant play in this team..

What has he done this season though mate?

Not a lot, his best home performance was against Yeovil, he scored a terrific free kick against Derby(cup game though) & scored a highlight goal against Watford.

Last season you could pick off at least 10 things that were impressive.

This season I can hardly pick off 5.

His all round game. He doesn't stop running, trying to create, he can defend, he scores goals, he sets them up. He's a team player.

Kingfox, you are again trying to be contrarian in order to appear as some kind of superior analyst.

In reality, this is typically reactionary foxestslk nonsense based on the poor last month of the season he has had. Thought you might be able to look past that.

I tend to agree that he has gone off the boil and tried to impress with his individual skills ever since Mahrez came to prominence.

Before that he was displaying a massively improved work ethic and willingness to help defensively, and was integral in our one touch play through midfield which has contributed hugely to some fantastic displays. His performance at Millwall was amongst the finest individual lcfc displays of the season.

He's 22 and a "flair" player by trade. He needs congratulating for the way he adapted his game this season to assist the team, even if it was to the detriment of providing induvidual moments of brilliance. He will only continue to improve.

Whether he is good enough to be a key starter in the prem remains to be seen. Think riyad has the greater potential myself.

He doesn't stop running, same can be said about Vardy, but he has offered more because of that this season.

The whole midfield tries to create, but we expect Knockaert to be the main catalyst in that department, and yes he can create, he has improved defensively.

But how can you call him a team player, when he holds onto the ball too long, loses possession endless times, and tries to take too many players on. Sometimes it's like he is running into a brick wall, just play the pass instead of holding onto it, and attract 2-3-4 players towards you, then end up losing the ball.

He was doing exactly the same last season, but of the things you mentioned trying to create, scoring goals, putting in impressive performances, in my opinion we saw more of that last season, than we have this season.

I'm only saying, he has a lot of improvement to make & that I think fans vastly overate him.

Agree with some points there, but like I've said myself, you can only pick off a few performances this season, you mention Millwall, I mention Yeovil & Watford. For a while now he has been a 6/10 or 7/10 performer, he can do much better than that. This season you can pick off many performances by players which they have impressed in, Drinkwater has impressed in the majority of games, as has James, Vardy & the defence, as for Knockaert he hasn't. I just get very frustrated watching him play, he gives away possession too much, and it's becoming very annoying, regardless how well we are playing as a team.

Is it that Knockaert has declined/not done a lot this season or is it that other players have stepped up to the plate this season compared to the back end of last season? I think the latter.

From what I have seen, a lot less than the majority of you boys, I wouldn't say Knockaert has been poor, it's just he hasn't needed to be your match winner as much this season, it's good that you have had a number of different match winners.

Question, can anyone tell me how many different match winners you have had this season? Bet there has been a few.

There is no point KF. You are fighting a losing battle.

If little Knocky starts to struggle next season, THEN opinion would turn. Not now.

He has already started to struggle.

It's interesting that kingfox continues to state that knockaert was more of a match winner/had stand out games and moments last year and compare that view to davieg's post match votes.

Last season:

Knockaert - 120 points and 5 MOTM wins, one joint MOTM win, giving 5.5 overall.

This season, when knockaert has apparently not produced any particular stand out games and performances:

Knockaert - 111 points (so far) and 6 MOTM wins, one joint MOTM win, giving 6.5 overall.

Add to that how much better everyone else has been this season and it shows that either that vote means nothing or kingfox just has a shit memory and knockaert has produced stellar performances in a title winning season.

Who knows which is right hey.

I was on the verge of posting that KF must be doing this for a bet, or a 'joke'- e.g. who's the best player I can slag off and get pages and pages of bites? And concluded that Mahrez, DD and Vardy would be too obviously a wind up so Knocky it is.

Then I remembered the KF vs Drinky diatribes of 2012/3, and it's just about possible he's being serious...

Remember ladies and gentleman this is the same Kingfox who slagged off De Laet and Matty James when we signed them. But then anally rims St Ledger.

Didn't realise that. Not worth debating with then. Clueless

You can only give views on a player, of how they were playing at the time, nobody knows how a player is going to be the season or two after.

Drinkwater last season, was woeful in the second half of it, was rightfully slagged off not just by myself but by others, he was rightfully dropped, and can you remember there was even talk of him leaving at the end of last season.

I'll admit did I ever think he would turn out so good...No, but like I've said endless times before I admit it when I'm wrong.

Remember ladies and gentleman this is the same Kingfox who slagged off De Laet and Matty James when we signed them. But then anally rims St Ledger.

I didn't slag them off, at the time of signing those two, there was all this talk about getting in a defensive midfielder or an attacking midfielder, and I didn't think Matty James was either, and he wasn't the type of midfielder we needed. While on De Laet, I questioned his defensive abilities & in some aspects I've been right about them, because he has had some awful defensive displays for us, but with a season of experience at the back of him, he has improved a lot this season, something which I've admitted over the course of this season.

And with Knockaert now, I just haven't been impressed with him in the past couple of months, take our starting 11 at the minute, I think he has been our worst player in it. I was more impressed with him last season, regardless of those MOTM stats, maybe because there have been a lot of players better than him recently, like De Laet, Schlupp, James, Drinky & Mahrez, or maybe because he has actually been playing poor recently, over the past couple of months, he has only impressed me once and that was against Yeovil. He can do better in my opinion, and to say he is our best player at the minute is a joke, giving possession away endless times and running into a brick wall, isn't impressive.

As a Foxes fan for 51 years I can't remember a time when we had three talented, fearless, young(maybe not Lloydy!) wide players all capable of going by their full back either way, down the line or cut inside, all capable of scoring goals, who regularly get doubled up on by defenders, allowing others freedom to play....and here we are questioning their ability.

When either of them get the ball 40 yards out and move forward the crowd noise rises....give them a chance in the Premiership, these three and Vardy are all something a little different, and we need to encourage their flair and creativity, not stifle it with tactical correctness

Leicester fans amaze me at times.....
