Andy Delort and Diafra Sakho linked:

If it's true we paid £2.4 million for Knockaert then £3.9 million for De Lort might not be unreasonable. Don't forget that might just be his release clause which Tours are refusing to do business until it's met. If we want him that badly then it's down to us to meet that. Still not a lot of money for a potentially prolific finisher. A very good record from a league we've already had success from recruiting from.

I think getting Mahrez for £400,000 will always cause a hot debate on the value of other players from that league. We got an absolute bargain but it's not a true reflection of the going rate. Look at the prices players from our 2nd tier are going for!!

I'm sure Nigel stated somewhere that he hadn't ever spent more that £1.2 million on a player.

We didn't, Pearson has stated he has not paid more than £1.2m for anyone since he came back.

Why didn't they use a current picture of stadium? You should leave them a stern message.

I took that photo about 4 years ago I think it was.

I have actually emailed them asking why they used it without my consent lol

With Southampton having signed Pelle, suppose if original reports are true it'd leave us in a straight fight with Stuggart and Gladbach. Sadly I'd rank us 3rd

Who knows, he might be attracted by the chance to play in the PL, as many players are. IF we are one of the clubs, and IF the other isn't also a prem club, then I'd say we've got as good a chance as any.

After all, in that link the player is quoted saying that he's hesitating between two clubs. Meaning that if we are one of those, then he ranks us and the other pretty much equally.

I think we are but I can see Nigel's fascination with Ulloa hampering any chances of him coming to us. We'll dither over increments of thrumpty quid with Leo and miss out on De Lort who'll end up in the Bundesliga.

Would be happy if this happened. Seems like another type of striker to what we currently do not have. His goalscoring record speaks for it self. Also the teams interested aren't small clubs so if we pull this off it would be a good aqusition. Can see it being the end for Chris Wood however if it does happen.

I would prefer him to Ulloa, based on his age and potential.

What has age got to do with it?  Ulloa is 27 - why does that make him a less preferable signing?

There is also a mention, that we are lining up Cameroon midfielder Raoul Loe, valued at £2,000.000.

In the related articles bit? That's dated back to early June lol

Would like to see Delort here.... but not as our 'marquee' striker signing! French Div 2 straight to Prem is a HUGE jump!

I'd agree with this. I've never seen Delort play but it would be a big jump. I would say the championship is a higher standard than french div 2

The way Mahrez and Knockaert have taken to the Championship there certainly wasn't any requirement for them to " step up a level " they did it with ease.

true. I haven't ever seen Delort play so can't comment. How much is he valued at?

Neither have I. I might ask my uncle actually as he lives in Tours but not sure he follows them. They want 5 million euros for him which seems a lot.
