For what I can make out him and his agent are meeting clubs, agreeing personal terms without anything done with Tours who wanted 5 million euros for him.

Finnegan Posted 4 August 2014 Posted 4 August 2014 Sort of what I was saying when we were linked to Vietto along with Arsenal and Valencia, etc. When clubs are linked it just means they've been spotted watching, a lot of the time. There's often nothing in it properly. We probably have watched him and so have Atletico et all. Obviously clubs have decided he's got a lot more growing to do. It's like when we signed Knockaert. I don't think anyone really believes we stole him away from a whole host of top flight clubs though they probably had a good look.
