lavrentis Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 You're in luck. Wednesday 1pm, DMU SU. http://www.dmu.ac.uk/dmu-students/hot-topics/april-2014/the-great-lcfc-ticket-giveaway-%E2%80%93-join-citys-promotion-party-this-weekend.aspx
Stuliasz Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Well that's my evening's entertainment sorted, this thread should be ace in a few hours time.
goose2010 Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 anyone got the keys to the safe house?? I will put the kettle on.
Libertine Dream Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 If you're gonna give them away to people who are completely underserving of them then at least send them a decent uni
Wakeyfox Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 If there are any student on here who want to earn some cash for picking me up 2 tickets (or even just 1), message me and I'll sort you out. Thanks
Trumpet Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Who cares. DMU have had these tickets for every game this season as part of a sponsorship deal. Unless you know the ins and outs of it, then there's not much to get worked up about.
statto7 Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Is this some sort of joke, so there are fans who can't go to the game because tickets have "sold out" yet students can go for £6 that is shocking
Vardinhio Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Open to DMU staff too, so those Senior Lecturers that support Man United get to for free!
statto7 Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 If any students are about then I'm happy to pay for the tickets and the £6 they will have to pay
Babylon Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Is this some sort of joke, so there are fans who can't go to the game because tickets have "sold out" yet students can go for £6 that is shocking No it's part of a sponsorship deal pre agreed a long long time ago. The same with other sponsors all grabbing loads of tickets, King power grabbing a loads.
lavrentis Posted 28 April 2014 Author Posted 28 April 2014 If any students are about then I'm happy to pay for the tickets and the £6 they will have to pay I've seen some see it as a business opportunity to fleece Leicester fans
Unabomber Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Is this some sort of joke, so there are fans who can't go to the game because tickets have "sold out" yet students can go for £6 that is shockingAnd here we go

Babylon Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 I've got hold of 4. £50 each, pm me if interested. I hope that's a joke.
kingcarr21 Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 I will quite happily pay for tickets if a student wants to make some money
GingerrrFox Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 I've got hold of 4. £50 each, pm me if interested. You're a ****.
Trumpet Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 I hope that's a joke. Well, I'm happy to sell them on here, but get in quick as i'll have to take the listing down on ebay. It is a joke. You're a ****. That's not how you spell entrepreneur.
Vlad the Fox Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Also available to students and staff who are long term City fans. Why do people just assume it's everyone's first game or they support someone else? Anyway, should be entertaining on here around tea time now.
statto7 Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Would pay £35 for each ticket that's is face vale at £29 plus the £6 they paid only want 2

Anyway, should be entertaining on here around tea time now. Exactly. To be honest, even if I took advantage of this (I wouldn't because I'm working Saturday), I wouldn't sell them on even at face value. You have to sign for the tickets and I wouldn't risk my future education. Plus, I'd only go in that section if it was a sell-out like it is. Otherwise I've gone full price just to sit with my mates.

Anyway, should be entertaining on here around tea time now. Sigh, the tales of woe are getting boring... "I've had a season ticket since 1912, this is the only season I've missed ever and I can't get a ticket, but some other bugger has and it's unfair because it's not me".
