mozartfox Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Shocking news. Please I pray these reports are incorrect. This puts everything into perspective. Massively upset here in Austria.

Kitchandro Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 It all seemed to happen when Birmingham got their equaliser. I was right next to the away end, and all their fans were frantically waving. My first thought was that they were urging their players forward (as they needed a goal) but something about it seemed not quite right. A woman sprinted down the stairs and then it dawned on me at least some of the away end were trying to get stewards/medical staff up the stairs. I wasn't sure what was going on for quite a while but it was clear after full time that they were still giving him CPR. I saw him wheeled down some time after but he wasn't in a bodybag then; he had the oxygen mask round his face and was just strapped to a stretcher. It was horrible to watch and it ruined the celebrations really. I was already gutted for Doncaster that they went down but that really put a downer on things. I would have thought that they wouldn't have taken him down with an oxygen mask after that length of time if he had already died?
Tom17LCFC Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Yeah really put a dampener on things. Hope he pulls through. Any news on the City fan towards the bottom of SK1? Looked like someone was receiving treatment then got carried out.
Narborough_fox Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Yeah really put a dampener on things. Hope he pulls through. Any news on the City fan towards the bottom of SK1? Looked like someone was receiving treatment then got carried out. Think he'd fallen down the stairs. Was carried out on the stretcher with an oxygen mask and a neck brace on. Hopefully both the City and Doncaster fan make speedy recoveries.
nealsimbo Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 lad in sk1 seemed to go running down the steps out of control, obvious could not stop until he fell, horrible to see hope he's ok
jamesmilner Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 saw cpr being given to the Donny fan . broke my heart , puts football on the backburner .
LCCFox96 Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Hopefully he'll pull through. At least they got him to hospital to give him a chance. I now feel even more bad for Donny than I did already. Hope that fan gets better.

It's all about how quick they could get a defibrillator to the poor guy. At least there's still hope for now!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 New nothing about this as I was in the opposite corner, tragic, hope he/she pulls through.
Brauny Fox Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 I could see the paramedics giving CPR from the Kop...seemed to go on for around half an hour. Didn't look good but I hope he's OK. I saw four people in total receiving medical attention today. Really puts things in perspective.
