TheUltimateWinner Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Who was receiving CPR. Hope they pulled through, wasn't nice to see at all. Also hope the fan in the kop who got injured today is well too.
Richard Stevens Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Has he died? I think there are unconfirmed reports that he's passed away. Sent from the next Forest manager.
80footgiraffe Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Was this on the pitch? The person people thought was a steward?
elangLCFC Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Saw a lot of Donny fans calling the St Johns up and there was a lot of concern. Really really hope whoever it was pulled through and if they didn't then my thoughts with all their friends and family. Certainly put an odd taint on the atmosphere for a while
80footgiraffe Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 I feel terrible but i didnt see this, horrible news, thoughts and prayers with their family
NewburyFox Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 It was in the donny end. There was lengthy CPR and then he was carried away on a stretcher. Hope he pulls through, and it did put a rather horrible black mark on today for me.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 3 May 2014 Author Posted 3 May 2014 Was this on the pitch? The person people thought was a steward? The one receiving CPR was in the Doncaster stand. Received it for around 20 minutes before being carried away.
Xen Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Was this on the pitch? The person people thought was a steward? Nope, 3 separate incidents. Leicester fan carried out on a stretcher (I think), then a Donny fan receiving CPR, and a steward injured in the pitch invasion.
Simmsy Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Hopefully he's okay, saw it from the kop and thought it was chest compressions I could see. As good as today was some things are just more important! Also, any idea what happened to the person in SK1/2? Didn't seem as serious as the events in the Donny end
Monsell1976 Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 From l1 they looked in a bad way, worked on him/ her for about 20 min, my prays are with them, and hope they recover.
Raj Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 horrible. we could see it from L1. asked a steward who said he'd died.tragic
The Year Of The Fox Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Not long before the FT whistle fans were urging medical staff up to the stand. They were still doing CPR on him at the start of the presentation then carried him out on a stretcher. Soul destroying to watch.
diggler Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 SK1 was a very drunk young lad who lost his footing on the way down from the top (or he may have been running down) - he bounded down the steps full pelt until he hit someone/something near the bottom. Anyone know him or have an update? Didn't look good
Fox92 Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Pointed it out to my brother because I saw loads of emergency staff around him. Horrible news.
broughtonblue Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Saw the Donny fans frantically calling medics up. Didn't feel right celebrating whilst I could see the CPR going on, if he/she has died its took the gloss off a very special day. Feel a bit flat now
Dylan Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Saw the Donny fans frantically calling medics up. Didn't feel right celebrating whilst I could see the CPR going on, if he/she has died its took the gloss off a very special day. Feel a bit flat now This... feels horrible, would've been slightly better had they stayed up, but for them to go down after that is even more horrible.
Bettsj2 Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 When I saw the length of time they were performing CPR I said to my dad I didnt think they'd make it. If you've not come round after that amount of time, you probably wont. Couldnt celebrate at all as I was constantly looking over at the Donny fans hoping to see them sit up. Very much hope that the club treat this going forward the way they did with the Everton fan. So tragic.
Blanesta Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 horrible. we could see it from L1. asked a steward who said he'd died.tragic Bloody hell that's terrible, It's so sad to hear about these moments. RIP
Illusion35 Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Sorry to hear about the Doncaster fan. Would be good if anyone can update on the accident in SK1, was quite close to this and there seemed a lot of concern.
HEGGSY Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 I have been told he was being carried out in a body bag during the pitch invasion. Awful news.
Russell sprout Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Absolutely tragic, gutted, ruined me day not in a selfish way, really sad news
