bart Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Yes, it's shit. Its worse than that, no one who exits has successfully bought a ticket so the demand just keeps on rising. I still think they deliberately slow the website, to improve the speed of their systems in the ticket office or something, it can't possibly be this bad otherwise.
stoughtonfox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 In the q for 4 and a half hours and I'm still not into the ticket office yet
N8 Fox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I finally got mine through the website. Was incredibly slow and been booted out a number of times but at least the ticket I wanted is now secured!
Wrighty22 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Tried calling up after giving up with the shit website. Said their phone lines are at full capacity and to reduce my phone bill they will terminate the call. How nice of them! NOT!
Guest Papasmurf Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 finally in the que on the phones!!! excited Good luck. Still no joy here. Been trying since 9. Least productive day in the office ever and looks like I get to do it all over again in the morning.
norfolkfox222 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 anyone know what time the store is open till? im 4th im que hope its not 5 oclock or ill be mad
Wrighty22 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 anyone know what time the store is open till? im 4th im que hope its not 5 oclock or ill be mad 6. But they are retarded so it could be earlier or later depending on what level of qualifications they gained at school.
Stuliasz Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 A basic requirement of a website which sells tickets for events should be to cope with significant peaks in demand. For a top-flight football club to not have a website capable of this is piss-poor. Perhaps they should be utilising third-party sites like Ticketmaster if they can't build or buy something themselves which is adequate.
davieG Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 So it's obvious that renewals have caused part of the problem Email Dear As a 2013/14 valued Season Ticket Holder, we have some important information for you regarding 2014/15 Season Tickets.Your current Season Ticket seat(s) has been reserved and will be available to renew until 6pm on Monday 2 June.Your seat will be reserved for you until this date and will NOT be sold to anyone else. With a maximum of 7,000 Season Tickets available to new applicants, tickets have been flying off the shelves which has seen a frenzied first day of sales at King Power Stadium. If you wish to renew, we strongly recommend that you wait until the start of next week to avoid both the long queues on the phone lines, at the City Fanstore and online at www.lcfcdirect.com.The Club would like to thank you for your patience and continued support throughout the season.
statto7 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Currently 3rd in the que, this had better end well, the website is hugely inadequate and really does need to be sorted out, imagine when Utd or Liverpool tickets get released all hell will break loose
Illusion35 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I just don't know how some of you are getting through! I can't get into the phone queue or onto the website and got sent home from the king power queue at 3pm so not sure what else I can actually do.
Rob_Welsh85 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 What times everyone queuing up tomorrow then? Would have gone today but had to work and as for the phone lines and website... Well its a bit poor and TBH frustrating to say the least... Hopefully if I get down there early enough tomorrow morning the queue won't be to horrendous..
ElusiveEd Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Now getting a message on website saying "We are currently unable show you this event" when you try to choose seats for 2014/15 season tickets. I had heard they had (and I guess they now have) closed the booking system down. I have twice got further than this today before getting booted off but that may just be it for today. Anybody else getting that message?
C-man Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 If there's a club that closes its online booking system down after business hours, basically eliminating the whole benefit of purchasing online then it is surely us.
Illusion35 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 They told me in the queue at the stadium that they were just closing the stadium queue not the website.
deejdeej Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Got mine in SK1, 6 and a half hours queuing at the ground, so so boring but it'll be worth it.
Illusion35 Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I would happily have queued for as long as needed but they wouldn't let me!
Karljohn Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Been at the stadium 4 and a half hours, still have a good hour ahead of us, they closed the doors but then reopened at 5.25, about 100 turned away after taking details on a form from them at about 2pm only to let schoolkids in who rolled up at 4. Still clueless after all these years.
Gary Eatfood Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 LCFC Direct has spawned a new internet phenomenon - a webshite.
SemperEadem Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Cant get through on the phones and been on the internet page for over an hour. Sort it out Leicester.
stevelcfc Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Twice selected tickets and twice timed out, fuming, especially if this costs me being able getting seats in the area I have always been to when I've been in the past.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 The thing is, you can not even enter the website lcfc direct, even if you are not purchasing a season ticket. I need to access the website, even though I have already purchased one this morning but apparently I have to wait for 1100 people to leave the site. They should invest some money in to the website to allow more visitors..
