4ever and ever Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 With regards to phones was it just trying over and over again Yep, must have been 50 times I tried and didnt even get to the queue. Then when I got through I was on hold for about 50 minutes in total
Neil_LCFC Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 They will b able to buy Messi with the money from people on hold on the phone lines today !
hackneyfox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Why a single person who is renewing has gone down today is beyond me. Because they may want to relocate?
lgfualol Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I'm better than you all, I've watched loads of streams this season. Me too, and I will all next season as well.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 If you read my next post down in the thread I have no problem whatsoever in being in the queue where i am behind season ticket holders. My main problem is the system in general. But your point about priority not working is flawed. Based on that then the whole away ticket priority ticket system shouldnt exist as a season ticket holder who has been to 0 away games deserves an away ticket as much as one that had been to all 23 in the previous season? I now have my season ticket after perseverance on the phone and will also probably be in category 1 for next season as I will start the season with 10 points. Whoever goes to the games to support the team I love is fine by me but I do think either some sort of priority system for season tickets needs to be put in place or an upgrade to the ticketing system so it is not as much down to luck as to who is getting through. There has to be a priority system for away tickets as the allocations are a lot smaller. Priority on away tickets is also a selling point for the club in trying to get people to buy season tickets, an advantage that you'll no doubt be pleased to have next year and which may be a major factor in your maintaining a season ticket for years to come. Organising schemes/a priority system to reward those who have already committed money to the club for an entire season makes sense (looking after their most valued customers), implementing one for those who didn't make that commitment doesn't! I agree entirely about the whole ticketing operation however, absolute shambles consistently.
hackneyfox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 They've put up a barrier and are taking the names of those on the wrong side of it, all of whom will be served first thing tomorrow morning.

harpendenfox Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Only one solution. Add an Old Trafford style extension to the East stand, increasing capacity to an impressive 46,500. And get it done by late July.
Manwell Pablo Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 Starting to get a bit worried about this hysteria, wonder what it'll be like if we got tonked in our first three games.

I agree entirely about the whole ticketing operation however, absolute shambles consistently. Partly agree. But if you take the new season tickets as a stand alone entity then they are also a "smaller allocation" and maybe something could have been looked at as it could easily have been calculated. I agree about looking after their most valued customers and the season ticket holders are guaranteed income that the club can rely on. But playing devils advocate by the sheer definition of the word value I would be quite high on that list with how much money I have spent this season Anyway, lets agree to disagree and just enjoy a frantic summer of ridiculous speculation and anticipation of what will no doubt be a season when we need every fan no matter what their situation behind the club.
Dan Posted 6 May 2014 Posted 6 May 2014 I genuinely can't remember the last time there was a big event for the club where the sales didn't go wrong. It's embarrassingly amateur.
